D is the most attractive cover. It illustrates what momentum looks like but what is it saying about who the leader is?
Launch Strategy - Does this sound right?
Hello Friends, My release date is April 25, but with so many unexpected things that have come up, I lost sight of my exact strategy. Please give me some feedback on the points below. Here is my plan for now. 1. I will set a release date on Ingram, Amazon for end of April. It will be available on my website too through Lulu. 2. I plan to make it available for a 50% discount for the first month to motivate people to buy it and to ask for reviews. I have already updated my website, gotten a few proofs of the book in print and ebook to see if I have to make corrections, reinvigorated my social media, and have done some speaking engagements to tease the book release. I’m finding the pre-sale strategy confusing at the moment because I don’t like that you can’t do one through Amazon for print. Thanks so much in advance for any thoughts that you can share 🙏🏽

@Rob Cole Yes, I have re-engaged my email list and social media contacts. I currently also offer two free chapters in exchange for emails on the website.
Huge Mistake! I uploaded to Ingram First
Hi Friends, What are your thoughts on this? My print book was uploaded to Ingram Spark before pre-sale and launch a few months ago. I didn’t know that they would also distribute it on Amazon. I learned today that Ingram doesn’t allow you to opt out from making it available there. I didn’t want to upload to Amazon until I was ready to release the book. Now that I’m ready to release the book, I cannot program a presale on Amazon because it’s already there and I have no control over the pricing. What do you recommend I do? Should I cancel my account with Ingram and upload everything again on both platforms at the same time? Thank you 🙏🏽

@Elissa Graeser Thank you for your reply. I checked with Ingram’s AI chat support, and it mostly verified what you said, but then it also said this: “If your book is already on Amazon via IngramSpark and you upload it to KDP, Amazon may list both versions. KDP does not automatically replace the IngramSpark listing—each is managed separately, and Amazon decides how to display them. Retailers independently determine which listing appears for customers.” What are your thoughts on this possibility? Thank you again so much for your feedback!

@Elissa Graeser Thank you so much! I will try this.
Seeking Feedback on Back Cover Blurb
Dear friends, If you have a minute, I would love your feedback on this back cover blurb for my upcoming personal growth book. Thank you so much in advance. REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE. CLARIFY YOUR VISION. LIVE WITH PURPOSE. Stuck in Yesterday is for anyone who feels trapped by past mistakes, trauma, or a life that no longer fits. Drawing from yoga philosophy, Indigenous wellness practices, modern coaching, and the author’s doctoral research, this book offers practical tools to realign with your inner compass and move from personal clarity to meaningful belonging. At the heart of the book is the Higher Purpose Codex—a six-part process to: • name your higher purpose • clarify core values • plant your vision seed • define principles of success • engage in visionary practices • translate insight into action. Together, these codes form a living personal manifesto that evolves as you do. More than a self-help book, Stuck in Yesterday takes a spiritual and embodied approach, guiding readers through visionary exercises that support real transformation—helping you trust your inner guidance and live your purpose with integrity.

@Mick Vance Dear Mick, Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I have two descriptions, this one, which I will shorten based on the feedback I am receiving and a longer one for a press release and Amazon description. I envision three audiences: 1. People who feel stuck and are open to yoga or spiritual solutions 2. Young people looking for direction in their careers or life path and are open to yoga or spiritual solutions 3. Yogis or spiritual people who are feeling stuck or have lost their way.
What’s one challenge you’re facing right now in your author journey?
It could be big or small: - Something you’re stuck on - A decision you’re avoiding - A task that feels heavier than it should - Or just a question you keep circling Share it in the comments. You don’t need a perfect explanation—just be real. Chances are, someone else here is dealing with the same thing, and this is a safe place to talk it through, plus some of our admins might be able to help you get through that pesky problem you're having. 🤓

Several challenges such as doing almost everything yourself, juggling editing and marketing, during the pre-launch phase.
