I recently secured an award for an oil recycling contract, which is to be executed by my subcontractor. However, after the award notice was issued, I realized there was a misunderstanding in the pricing due to an error on my part in explaining the scope of work to the subcontractor. Now, the subcontractor is requesting nearly 5x the original amount. How should I proceed to address this situation effectively?

I have put in so many bids in. When I check and see that I did not win. I am not bothered because see what the wining price was. This time though its the 2nd time i see what by bid was lower and I still did not win. Just gets frustrating. I few weeks ago I as asked for a capability statement. Sent it in and never heard back from the officer. Emailed them 2 weeks after I sent it in. Still did not hear back. So I am not going to stop. Going to keep going. Just a little frustrated today.

This is why it's encouraged to find more than 1 quote or get a formal quote. I just won my 8th award today and decided to go ahead and place my order on the item. My order was rejected because apparently they have an MOQ (which is not stated anywhere on their website) and my order doesn't meet that threshold. Found another supplier though but a little annoyed. 😑
