Welcome to the community. Best place to start is from @Day Cantave youtube channel. A lot of resourceful info on there especially on getting started. Also take a look at the old posts in the group. You might find just what you need since we all go through similar road blocks. Best of luck!
Trusted Parts
Has anyone found any luck with Trustedparts.com that Day recommended we use as a commercial source for products? It seems that most of their pricing is too overly inflated or the products are out of stock.

I’ve been trying to use it but the prices are sooo high compared to the awardee prices. Just lost another contract where every vendor I ran into are priced at $85 minimum and the awardee was at $17.50. I’ve been losing a lot of contracts when I got pricing from that website. I refuse to bid on contracts where I need to lower my price to pennies just to win.
Introduction
Hey Everyone! I'm Melvin Scott, 37 years old, from Pembroke Pines, Florida. My biggest goal as a Government Contractor is to successfully grow my business through securing contracts with DLA using DIBBS. My biggest struggle right now is navigating the steep learning curve of government contracting; especially understanding the best practices and strategies to consistently win contracts. Excited to be here, learn from you all, and grow together!

Welcome to the community. 😁 You will definitely learn a thing or two in here.
Packaging
I came across a video on YouTube from Mendsourcing company where they demonstrated how to properly pack ASTM D3951 standard. While looking at the video, they stated that each intermediate container needs to have no more than 100 units or weight more than 40lbs. He placed 1 screw in each pouch (1 EA) and then placed 100 of those pouches in an intermediate container before placing it into the exterior shipping box. I’m trying to find more information on this but I can’t find it anywhere in the DLA packing guide.

@Erwin Santos they called me the other day but I’ve been so busy lately with moving and forgot to get back to them. Yes, I would also take their email.
