What I learned in PMP is helping me as a new IT PM having transitioned from HR PM roles. In my IT role we are definitely using more elements of the PMP.
I need encouragement
Hi everyone, my scores on Andrew’s full length Beta Mock questions are not encouraging. 61% and 58% for mocks 1 & 2 respectively. I am demotivated. :( I am sitting for the exam on the 29th. Could use all the advice I can get. Thank you

You got this Maame! I just sat for the test yesterday for the 2nd time and passed. On Monday of this week, I was still failing Andrew's 180 mock exam (57% and 60%) and wondered how I could pass on Thursday. But I found that doing the 180 question test helped to get my mind in test mode as well as be able to more easily shift my brain to comprehending the concepts presented. Strategy makes a big difference in testing also. Find one that works for you (e.g. plan to flag questions, decide on the number of breaks you will take, see what might be distracting you while you are trying to test, etc.) At first, I was not flagging questions I did not know, but once I started doing that and answering the ones I was pretty confident I knew, I had more energy and time at the end to address the flagged ones. I was also practicing in a noisy environment, but once I got somewhere quieter, it was easier to go through the questsions. I also recommend reviewing the questions you got wrong to see the why behind it. I noticed that when similar questions came up on the real exam, I was able to recall what I reviewed. I also alternated my studies between the long mock test and the study 60 question mock tests (I used Andrew's TIA Cram Course _ PMP simulator and my job offered the Cram course on Udemy.). Remember to take breaks. Also, reviewing Andrew's "how to study video + study guide and the other study video provided via this PMP Skool community, helped me see some of my challenges. I found some of my challenges were not related at all to the material, but rather to knowing how to study and absorb information. Honestly, those videos helped me a lot also because I adjusted my outlook and study habits. Finally persevere. You will be so proud of your commitment. Please know that it took me 1.5years to get my PMP certification so as simple as the above info might sound, it took a lot. I paid for a 35hr course via PMP and used their practice test before I knew anything about Andrew's courses and still failed in Jan 2024. I was juggling this between kids, work, and just life. I was also reading the Rita Mucalhy book too and tried out some of her methods. The following process chart games helped tremendously in understanding the process groups which is a key to answering questions also. Process Chart Game V11 | RMC Learning Solutions (rmcls.com). Ultimately, I just tried to not give up and remove my mental expectations, judgements, and thoughts of where I "should be".
