Tips
Hi everyone! I just joined the group and am officially kicking off my PMP journey. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by the amount of study material out there. For those who passed recently in 2026: Where did you actually start? If you had to pick just two resources (books, simulators, or courses) that were 'must-haves,' what would they be? Also, how many weeks of solid study did it take before you felt confident enough to book the exam? Thanks in advance!
Stack Your Study Tools
If you’re only using one study resource for the PMP, that’s like trying to meal prep with one seasoning. Technically edible… emotionally disappointing 😂 I’ve always used multiple resources when I prep, and pulling tools straight from the PMI website has been clutch, especially the PMI Infinity PMP Exam Simulator: 👉 https://chatgpt.com/g/g-elRZlGQcX-pmi-infinity-pmp-exam-simulator Different resources hit different muscles, concepts, mindset, and endurance. The simulator keeps you honest, exposes weak spots fast, and forces you to think like PMI instead of guessing like it’s trivia night. Stack your tools, train smart, and let exam day be light work.
Its Finally Done - I Passed my PMP.
I’m pleased to share that I passed my Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification exam on Jan. 28th. I have to say I am so relieved. Thank you @Andrew Ramdayal for the PMP content. I purchased the study guide and the exam Simulator which was all wonderful practice for exam prep.....and yes, I wore "blue" during the exam and celebrated with cake afterwards.
PMP Passed! Hooray
I'm delighted to share that I passed my PMP. With a busy schedule that included work, church, MBA and family responsibilities, it took a bit longer than I would have liked. Thank you @Andrew Ramdayal for the content that helped me prepare. In addition to what is shared by Andrew, I used David McLachlan's YouTube videos to help me prepare. I would encourage you to check it out. A friend shared it with me, and it helped me feel more confident going into the exam. With a combination of Andrew's and David's content, my overall score performance was Above Target. Good luck to those preparing to take the exam. You got this!!!
