My goal is simple - help Skool group owners get found, and turn more visitors into members. -- A clever group name can be memorable. But to a cold visitor, it can also mean absolutely nothing. 😅 Names like: ❌ The Freedom Hub ❌ Next Level Circle ❌ The Catalyst may sound good to the owner, but they do not clearly tell people what the community is about. That does not mean you must throw away your brand name. It means your Group Card and About Page need to do more of the explaining. For example: 🧭 OBB1 Community Navigator “OBB1” is the brand. “Community Navigator” adds identity. But the Cover Image and Group Description still need to explain who the group is for and what result it helps create. And this is where the About Page comes in. The group name is only the first signal. Once someone clicks, the About Page has to continue the same message. A clear path looks like this: - Group name - creates the brand and identity - Cover Image + Group Description - explain who it is for and why it matters - About Page - builds trust and helps the visitor decide whether to join These parts do not need to repeat the same words. But they should tell the same story. Because when the name suggests one thing, the Cover says another, and the About Page opens with a different audience or outcome, the visitor has to work too hard to connect the dots. A simple check: Show your Group Card and About Page to someone unfamiliar with your business. Can they quickly tell: - who the group is for? - what it helps them achieve? - why they should click? - why they should join? When the name is clever, the rest of the message needs to be extra clear.
