How do you draw the line between coaching a movement and not taking away from a lifters individuality? For example, I was taught on the weightlifting courses that I’ve done to move the feet out on a clean and a snatch, some athletes barely move them and prefer it that way.
@Jack Somerville yes mate, I’ve started posting every day and been doing it only about three weeks, each day I don’t think I can come up with something but I do, creativity does get a boost, keep at it pal!
Do you have a set routine for posts. A meme or funny video will get me more likes and views, then as soon as I post something educational it takes a nose dive 😂. Like feeding a dog a pill wrapped in cheese, I try and feed educational content between entertaining videos. Just wondered if any of you have different structures?
Cheers pal, a bit of self reflection is never what I wanted but I know you’re right 😅. I’ll rethink my approach. Would you say video is better than pictures or those instagram slides?
Hope everyone is enjoying the gymnastics program that went out yesterday. Thought I’d do a Q&A regarding exercise selection or programming accessory exercises. Ask away!
Still trying to nail programming GPP style. How do you all break it down over a week or block? CrossFit is a mixture of gymnastics, weightlifting and mono structural training either a focus on one or mixing them up. I feel like GPP isn’t as simple
Obviously in a GPP programme, you are trying to cover a lot of elements. If you had someone who did CrossFit, would you throw in WODs on the programme or stick with the strength and conditioning elements that are already there, then when they have a comp coming up, start to introduce them?
