OBS LS Swap update but not LS Swap Related
Been working on the OBS non stop and figured if we gonna LS Swap it we better upgrade the rear brakes also. Got a notch in the frame and swapped face drums for disc brakes. Now to figure out what I wanna do with suspension before it goes back together.

@Jared Hill no bags but will prob end up with a low static drop. I wanna do a 4 link with coil overs in the near future.

Just saying the cheap stuff is cheap for a reason
Picked up a cheap knockoff bracket from Amazon just to test it out and was super disappointed hit it was excepted. Fitment was off and install was a headache. Definitely one of those ‘you get what you pay for’ situations. I’ll be upgrading to an ICT Billet bracket soon.

Not the best picture I’m about to try to mod this bracket. But alot OBS guys upgrade to NBS brake master cylinders and eliminate ABS then add a Wilwood proportioning valve. Would be cool if there would be a mount like this already made to mount the valve to.

1988 Chevy 1500 LS Swap/Build
Currently in the process of LS swapping my OBS with a 5.3 motor and 4L80 transmission. Still have something’s to get finished up before the new motor gets put in.

@Christopher Shea I knew if I didn’t just take it all off and clean it up I’d be so mad when I put it all back together. I’m taking the time to redo every thing I can so when it’s back together I’ll enjoy popping the hood to show off the work.

Dino’s Git Down is 100 percent worth attending. Such a huge show with so many vendors and show vehicles it’s hard to see it all.
