Vagusnervstimulation with tvns
Today I got the tvns I've ordered and had my first session! It tickled a little and during the session it felt as if my tiredness was enhanced but I couldn't see any difference in stress/hrv while using it. Anyone else that have tried and got a vagus nerve response?

@Katy Horton and I've never heard about SSP! I googled and now I wonder if you think it helps?

@Cas Lillico I ordered online. I bought a "nurosym" from Parasym witch have made a lot of research but there are also f ex pulsetto and zenowell. Nurosym is the most expensive and it took me a long time to decide ... Maybe the price differs depending on where you live (taxes and exchangerates...) but I volunteered for a research program and will in the end have paid ~550€
Recommendations
Do you have any good recommendations for low vitamin D and low Ferritin levels? I think I need to start there and then build from that place but I don’t know if supplements would help enough to get me to an optimal level with where my levels are right now. I’ve been taking 1000-2000 IU of vitamin D supplements but from what I have been reading that doesn’t seem to be high enough. My numbers have only gone from 17-23 taking that for over a year and a half. No one told me my iron was low so I haven’t addressed that yet.

I took 2600 IU for almost a year before I reached ~75. Maybe you can take a higher dose? I too, had low ferritin and in the beginning I took a high dose, got to an ok level and was told to stop. But then the lack of iron came back again and again. So I started to constantly take a low dose (14) and never stopped. It worked until I got to menopause when my level got too high instead.

@Katy Horton At first on and off with a prescriptiondrug 100 (mg?) and then the low dose bought as supplement 14. The low dose saved my tummy as well ...
T4 as sleeping pill?
I wonder if it's only me? When I take my t4 after about 15 minutes I get really tired. Especially if my body already is tired. So when I wake up around 5 in the morning I take my t4 and then it helps me sleep some more ... Happy to hear how you experience this, do you feel the same or not at all?
The 3pm You Never Talked About
Every afternoon, right around 3pm, your focus goes flat and you reach for coffee or something sweet. You have probably blamed sleep, age, or willpower. I know, I used to. Your cells are struggling to take in fuel. Your insulin signaling, the system that moves glucose into your cells, has become dysregulated. That is a metabolic pattern. It is called insulin resistance. React with 🙋 if this afternoon sounds familiar.

What I See in the Lab Results, Not the Scale
Early insulin resistance does not show up on a basic metabolic panel. Fasting glucose and HbA1c can both be normal, and yet the woman in front of me is exhausted, foggy, gaining weight around her midsection, waking at 3am, and has been dismissed by two or three physicians who told her everything looks fine. Fasting insulin shows a different picture. A result above 8 to 10 µIU/mL alongside normal glucose is the pattern I see consistently in high-achieving women in their 40s. It does not trigger a diagnosis, but it is the beginning of a cascade that, left unaddressed, becomes much harder to reverse. Caught at this stage, it responds well. That is exactly why we test rather than guess. Have you ever had your fasting insulin tested? Comment below. 💛

Yes, my endocrinologist suspected early diabetes and I did all sorts of testing. I even did one month of testing at home but my levels are normal and my longtime suger almost too low ...
