OK, ladies today is day one! Hopefully you have your micro habit that you’re committing to written down with specification. So that means the habit or activity as well as when in the day you’re going to execute on this. Having it written down, helps your brain commit to it. It makes it very clear what is going to happen so you’re not having to think about it every day. We have to set ourselves up for a success here! I’ve been talking a lot about anchor habits, which are important in helping you to get back to center and helping you feel grounded. This is a small micro habit that helps you find your calmness in the chaos and find your clarity in confusion. It can be something as simple as Box breathing or spraying your favorite fragrance because it provides you with calmness. It could be something like working out or taking a walk. An anchor habit is something that you have identified that you do in times of stress, chaos or uncertainty. Creating an anchor habit for yourself will help ensure your success this week. Life is always going to come in and throw curveballs, but it’s how we handle and manage those that matter the most. By creating an anchor habit for yourself, you are providing yourself with your own tool and resource to pull from to keep you on track.
