No thought, no problem
A long essay on addictions — and thinking is one of them! « This really does go all the way down. The addiction to thinking is, at root, an addiction to wanting things to be different from how they are. The fuel is always some version of: this moment isn’t enough. The machinery of mind grabs a thought, hoping it will resolve the tension. Alas, it never does. So it grabs another, and another, and the body is left holding whatever you were trying not to feel. » Thank you @Mary Martin https://open.substack.com/pub/deepfix/p/youre-probably-addicted-to-thinking?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web All Reflections welcomed dear community ☺️

Are we not here making a confusion... between jumping from thought to thought... and thinking?

@Sarah Santacroce do you want me to add something or simply leave it as it is?
Patience in the liminal space
Loved this story about the very impatient caterpillar 💛 Made me think of our conversation around speed and efficiency @Morena Galesic and @Veronique Sikora Gasser Thoughts? And yes, I wasn't patient enough and watched it in double speed 🙃 #irony

Being... patient! Sounds like being able to wait! So what I do to wait is to apply myself in 'something' else... day dreaming... inner processsing... browsing the telephone ... conversing... meditating... Maybe one day I would have become patient enough to do 'nothing'... anyone can show me how?

A provocative question to you!😇
Dear ID@Work members, I’d like to pose a provocative question to you: How do we free ourselves from leadership? Why is leadership problematic?Even if we try to improve it with new adjectives, could it be that the real solution is to retire it altogether?

Remove leadership maybe, but please keep leading
Birthday month poll
@Nadene Canning and myself both have our birthdays in January, we're both Capricorns. It would be fun to know some of our birthdays, and if you know it, your Zodiac sign. The poll didn't let me add 12 options, so I had to group 2 months together. If you like, add your exact birthdate and zodiac sign in the comments ;-)
