@Ariaan Cardenas I've called around Seattle too and spoke in depth with the permit department. I've still not had any bites, only nibbles, with getting a first unit. But my plan was to simply not mention permiting or the seattle biz licence (can't recall its name) until after we verbally agreed on the deal, then casually mention there's a quick and easy process where I'll pay the permit fee once a year (its only a couple hundred). And you can have the owner choose you to be a delegate for them and do the actual process of attaining the permit online for the owner. The permit has to be in the owner's name, not the management co's name. Have you got a unit in Seattle yet? I see this post was last month.

@Ariaan Cardenas awesome. I'm on the peninsula near Port Townsend. Where are you at? Do you have any units in Seattle? I'm aware of the 2 str unit per building regulation plus the permits required. Trying to start my first units local and seattle is the closest place with the best profits. The permit game doesn't sound fun but gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
