Adding some inlay aggregate to a pair of maple wall hooks to display a special fishing rod 👀

I was out with my kayak and got skunked. Stocked trout pond. Guys fishing from shore were catching a bunch. I tried spoons, crankbait. Another kayaker said he was using dry flys and caught a couple trout. I want to maybe anchor my kayak and do a bobber. Any advice?
