Happy birthday, @Stephanie Ivey !
Good thing I have two sets of adjustable dumbbells.
Kiddo was here (and safe!). I'm back at it after taking a week off after having an unplanned tooth pulled. I've had my wisdom teeth extracted, but this is something else. I didn't think the pain would be that mentally taxing. I loved Dig Deeper the first time, so I'm going back through it as a sort of "bulk". I feel pretty good today.

@Amanda Steele nah, my son wanted to lift, too, so he pulled the plates out of the holder.
Share your January Goals!!
I don’t have a perfect workout or nutrition plan right now — and that’s okay. Here’s what I do know I will focus on in the next week, so that I have some sort of direction... FITNESS/MOVEMENT: - I’m lifting weights 3 days per week, focusing on progressive overload (heavy + volume), spinning 2 days per week at the studio, at least one rest day a week - I’m aiming for 7–8k steps on workdays because I know I struggle with movement beyond my scheduled workouts during the week (it's so easy to sit at work) NUTRITION: - Continuing to limit my alcohol intake to 2 days a week and not more than 2 drinks a day on either of those days. - I’m cooking at home 5 nights per week (this means 5 solid, well-portioned lunches and dinners + saving $! Another goal of mine this year.) I do have a non-negotiable goal to make a more specific plan for myself in terms of my nutrition (MACROS/CALORIE GOALS) and workouts by the end of next week and start a new plan 1/12. Posting for accountability and to encourage YOU to set and share your goals publicly, too!

Macros, especially protein. It's challenging to hit 130g a day for various reasons, but it's something I want to refine.
Hi!!
Hi! I’m Emily. 33 from Emmaus pa. I have a long history of ballet and dance for 15 years but had to stop after breaking my foot 6 times…. I know that a lot and it resulted in a bone getting removed from my foot. Since having the bone removed 11 years ago I got married and after 5 years of trying we eventually had Eleanor. She will be 4 at the end of February. Over the last year I learned I have hyper mobility and some wild body dystrophy things. I’m excited to be apart of this group for the accountability and realistic health mindset.
