These are my pride and joy at the moment ❤️ I got these Tennessee Beauty strawberry plants at a homesteading workshop (I’m not a homesteader, just a backyard container gardener 😂) exactly one month ago today. I can’t believe how wonderful they’re doing in a fairly small container! Now if they’d only hurry up and ripen like tomorrow 🤣

Okay, I know it looks like a total mess but we're just getting started! 🌱First pic is of a raised hugelkultur bed on a hill planted with 2 plum trees, strawberries and asparagus. 🌱 2nd pic is a bed dug into the side of the hill with a recycled "retaining wall". I just finished pulling up all the yucca that took over this area last year. Now I gotta get the root fragments outta there and plant it with some aggressive native species. Any ideas? 🌱3rd pic is a sassafras tree that was given to me by a neighbor last fall. I just got it in the ground finally. I hope it does well!
