👀 Eye Contact = Engagement Following this week’s challenge, I’ve put together a short video showing how I build eye contact and engagement with my dog. Eye contact isn’t about staring competitions—it’s about teaching your dog that checking in with you is rewarding. When your dog chooses to focus on you, training becomes easier, distractions become less powerful, and your relationship grows stronger. I filmed a quick little idea using BarkyBakey dough on a LickiMat® with a few simple toppings from the kitchen: 🥕 Carrot 🍎 Apple (no seeds) 🥥 Coconut 🎃 Pumpkin seeds Takes minutes, keeps there lil minds busy, and Cookie was very much in favor of the taste-testing process. With a LickiMat and puzzles you can do so much. I made this dough out of coconut flour, tapioca flour, turmeric, beetroot and whole oats (all organic ingredients) - makes a lovely pink mess 😆. Then I packed in the veggie bits. There are no animal byproducts so I just eat a bit as I go (taste testing you see;). If you guys do LickiMats, what's your go-to?
