This week’s video 🐾
👀 Eye Contact = Engagement Following this week’s challenge, I’ve put together a short video showing how I build eye contact and engagement with my dog. Eye contact isn’t about staring competitions—it’s about teaching your dog that checking in with you is rewarding. When your dog chooses to focus on you, training becomes easier, distractions become less powerful, and your relationship grows stronger. In the video, I walk through some simple exercises you can start using straight away to encourage your dog to offer attention voluntarily. Give it a watch, then let me know in the comments:🐾 How did your dog get on with this week’s challenge? 🐾 What situations do you find it hardest to keep your dog’s attention? Looking forward to hearing your progress!

@Paul Ramos as simple as that 🥰
Try this with your dog this week 🐾
This Week’s Challenge: The 3-Second Check-In Game Want your dog to pay more attention to you on walks without constantly calling their name? Try this: ➡️ On your next walk, every time your dog voluntarily looks at you, mark it with a cheerful “Yes!” (or click if you use a clicker) and give them a treat. That’s it. No commands, no asking for attention. Just reward the choice to check in with you. ‼️ Why it works: Dogs repeat behaviors that pay off. When checking in becomes rewarding, your dog starts choosing to stay connected to you—even when there are distractions around. Your challenge this week: - Do this for 5 minutes per walk. - Count how many check-ins happen naturally. - Notice if the number increases by the end of the week. - 👇 Share in the comments: How many check-ins did your dog offer on Day 1?

Teach your dog to settle!
🐾Today’s settle training session focused on helping this pup relax, switch off, and be comfortable staying calm. These skills create happier dogs and more peaceful household! 🐾 Teaching a reliable settle is one of the most valuable skills your dog can learn. A good settle helps your dog relax in busy environments, improves impulse control, and makes everyday life easier for both of you. Remember: reward calm behavior and build duration gradually. Consistency is key! ✨
