You learn marketing as a collective
Hi Team, I’m Eliot and I’m the proud owner of The Marketing Common Room, it’s a great space that helps you learn marketing as a collective, marketing is easier when you’re not doing it alone and many people don’t even know where to start. We help people by giving feedback, advice and talking all things business and entrepreneurial. With over 150 members it’s great to get help from people going through similar things to do. I’m always happy for a chat, DM or comments. Let’s talk marketing, business and grow together!

Thanks so much for your words @Paulo Costa, The Roaster I really appreciate you and your input and insights!
Most people avoid practising
Because they want the result before they’ve earned the reps. They want confidence before they’ve spoken on camera 20 times. They want better content before they’ve written consistently. They want clearer messaging before they’ve tested ideas publicly. But practice is the bit that creates all of that. You can usually tell who practices and who only consumes information. The people improving fastest are normally the ones willing to: • post before it feels perfect • test different styles • ask for feedback • repeat things until they feel natural • embarrass themselves slightly while learning That applies to marketing, speaking, sales, content, networking… pretty much everything. One of the best things about communities is having somewhere safe to practice. Not just learn. Practice. That’s why inside The Marketing Common Room we focus so much on accountability, feedback, sharing work, weekly calls, and learning in public. Because most people don’t need another 400 saved posts. They need reps. And reps are easier when you’re surrounded by people doing the same thing. 👉 Join us and take your next step in marketing The Marketing Common Room

Exactly right@Casey Kelly that's why we always work together to see how we can help each other and we can all grow together instead of "fighting" against one an other. I'm creating a place where people feel comfortable to share and know that if they do, they won't be judged and we all have experiences that can help others

📰 🤷‍♂️ “I don’t know where to start with marketing.”
That’s one of the most common things I hear. And it does makes sense.. Because there’s sooo much to think about Content Ads Funnels Email AI SEO It feels like everything matters. But it doesn’t, marketing is much simpler when you zoom out a bit: • Get attention • Build trust • Make an offer You don’t need to do everything. Pick ONE platform. ONE audience. ONE problem. You need to do the right things in the right order. Start from there and add more later.

Knowing what to do isn’t usually the problem.
Actually doing it is. That gap is where most people get stuck. Inside The Marketing Common Room, we close that gap with weekly calls, accountability, and honest conversations. Every week: • We jump on live catch-up calls around messaging, visibility, content, and positioning • Members share what they’re working on and get feedback • We set actions and keep each other moving forward It’s not about collecting more advice. It’s about creating momentum. If your marketing keeps getting pushed to “next week,” this is the kind of structure that helps change that. The Marketing Common Room

Thanks so much @Paulo Costa, The Roaster It's always great to bounce ideas off one another and get realtime feedback and the ideas from the calls just keep on coming! I've love our recent theme of Elevator pitches and it's been great to see how well the members have been doing on those!
