Need a little insight, guidance, help... Please! Alexa - Your Impression
Hello everyone! I have a couple of questions. First, I'm glad to see this sort of content. Second, I've heard you, Alexa, single mom and still made it work... I'm solo supporting, disabled, no government assistance... so, bills and eating come first before this. Having that been said, the launch of my channel has been a year in the making with the last 6 months of dedication. I have a drive for this content. It seems to be addressed from a clinical point of view, vs, any real world experience talking. That's what I'm bringing to the table. Thank you for motivating me with direction towards getting my banner done and rewriting my about page. I'm happier with it. To the point now of my questions... I have a marketing background but technology and social marketing is my Achilles heal. Are you suggesting that cross platform marketing is necessary to make YouTube work? If so, how can I make money on these other platforms posting content I'm posting on YouTube? There's contradictory information about this topic on YouTube! My Second question... There seems to be conflicting information about posting short and long form content on the same channel in regards to YouTube's algorithm. Some say, do one or the other and then have a second channel for the opposite. Is this true? My idea, was to use the short form videos to drive attention and support to my long form video topic content. Basically, use short videos to advertise my channel content. You thoughts or impressions and experience in this regard? Please!

Are You Hiding?
Most creators don’t struggle because they aren’t capable. They struggle because part of them is still holding back. You can be posting consistently. You can be learning. You can be “doing the work.” And still not be fully all in. Because your actions might say yes……but your inner dialogue, energy, and self-trust are quietly saying no. Here’s the pattern I see over and over: We were taught to distrust ourselves. To override intuition with logic. To look outside ourselves for permission, certainty, and validation. That conditioning doesn’t just affect YouTube. It affects your creativity. Your confidence. Your ability to lead. Your willingness to be seen. You cannot move forward fully if you don’t fully believe you’re allowed to. One small practice I want to give you today (no fixing, no forcing): - The Somatic Truth Test Sit still for a moment. Take one deep breath. Say to yourself: “I’m not ready yet.” Don’t analyze it. Just notice your body. Does your chest expand or tighten? Does your breath deepen or shorten? Do you lean forward or pull back? Now simply name it: “This thought feels expansive” or “This thought feels contracting.” Now try: “This is the direction I’m meant to go.” Notice again. Name it. Your body already knows the truth. Your mind just likes to argue with it. If you start listening here — even in this small way — you stop abandoning yourself. And everything begins to shift from that point forward. Try this with your next video idea...does it feel expansive or contracting? I’d love to know: What did you notice when you tried this? Expansive or contracting? Drop it below 👇

@Mandy Schneider Thanks I can also Promote my Song Simple the Best
Simplicity vs Complexity in Songwriting
Simple songs often perform better because they are easier to remember and emotionally connect with. Complexity can impress, but clarity connects. Do you tend to write more simply or more complex?
