Big Win for this pick your online business member
Let's give it up for @Bryan StClair who just hit two milestones with his brand new Skool Community called Inertial Propulsion Workshop! He grabbed his 10th member yesterday and reached 1,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Congrats Bryan! Things happen fast when you show up and take action. His skool group is brand new, not a even a month old. @Bryan StClair made the decision to move over to Mindset Skool on December 24th and hasn't looked back. GREAT JOB!

Your First Online Business Is Supposed to Be Small…and Slightly Boring
Most people get stuck before they ever start because they believe their first online business needs to be exciting, impressive, or unique. It doesn’t. Your first business is not supposed to: - Change your identity - Impress strangers on the internet - Make you feel “lit up” every time you talk about it - Become your forever thing Its only job is to work. A small, boring, obvious solution to a real problem will outperform a flashy idea you never finish…every single time. Here’s what usually happens instead: You try to make the first thing special. You overthink the positioning. You worry if it’s “worth it.” You keep tweaking instead of testing. And eventually… nothing ships. The people who end up with exciting businesses later almost always started with something simple, practical, and frankly… kind of dull. They earned leverage after they earned proof. If you’re in PYOB trying to pick your first online business, ask yourself this instead: 👉 What problem do I already understand better than the person dealing with it right now? Not the sexiest problem. Not the trendiest problem. Just a real one. Solve that first. You can make it interesting later. P.S. I created the "Inertial Propulsion Workshop" on the 25th, opened it on the 27th then announced the opening on Linkedin and YouTube. Got my first 7 memebers and am starting to get interaction from them. I just sent the link to people on my Systeme.io email list. I think this is going to be really good!
YouTube to Skool Funnel - Why it's easy for an online business
I asked @Bryan StClair if I could review his YouTube channel and he gave me the link. Watch this video for my review and how I answer his questions about using a free Skool community to build your audience and email list. Thanks Bryan and keep up the great work!

How to Decide What Online Business to Start in 2026
If you’re trying to decide what online business to start in 2026, this post is meant to help you make that decision today - not “someday in January.” Most people don’t fail because they lack motivation. They fail because they start the year without making a decision. “I want to start an online business” isn’t a decision. “I’ll figure it out as I go” isn’t a strategy. So let’s simplify this and actually do something about it. DECIDE Right now, pick one of the options below. No overthinking. No explaining. A) I’m building a business around skills I already have B) I’m turning a problem I’ve solved into a paid offer C) I’m choosing ONE idea to explore seriously for the next 30 days D) I’m staying stuck because I refuse to choose (Yes… D is still a decision.) COMMIT For the next 30 days, you agree to: - stop chasing new ideas - stop consuming random business content - stop restarting from zero You stay in the lane you chose. FOCUS Your only focus is this question: - Who do I help, and what problem do I help them solve? That’s it. No branding. No tech stack. This is how people actually break the cycle. If 2026 is going to be different, it won’t be because of motivation. It’ll be because you finally made, and honored, a decision. Comment A, B, C, or D below. No explanations. Just choose.

My current thoughts: Maybe a Skool community teaching the fundamentals of the system and guiding those who wish to participate in designing and building their own. Builders and inventors are an underserved community that tend to be "loners" due to the ostracism experienced from the "mainstream" scientific community which extends to educational institutions and virtually all industries including aerospace. The rough structure I’m considering: - A free core community (discussion, culture, shared learning) - Optional paid layers for structured working sessions, deeper guidance, or curated resources - Paid offerings that don’t gate the community itself or pressure members to upgrade I’m trying to build something long-term and trust-based, not a funnel. I would also continue to create YT videos...

@Brian O'Neill No worries there. Mainstream says it is impossible, but I and others like me have proven it is not just possible but it is actually a rather simple mechanism. The important points from a high level view are: 1- I have full blown demonstrations (proof). 2- Others have accomplished similar results with similar machines (I have records). 3- Nobody else is teaching this... Nobody! 4- I am getting noticed by people, institutions, and groups worldwide but other than the know-it-alls and trolls I have nobody disputing my work. I am not sure if being the only one puts me in a good position, or if it puts me in a bad position. As long as there IS a position, I guess it could always be worse... LOL. And maybe this will put others in a position to help even more people and so on...
Coaching vs Courses vs Digital Products - Which One Fits YOUR Skills Best?
One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck is simple. They don’t know which type of online business actually fits them. So they spend months bouncing between ideas…trying a little coaching, watching a few course videos, testing a digital product…and never getting traction with any of them. Here’s the simplest way to think about the 3 most common online business models and how to know which one is right for YOU: 1️⃣ Coaching (1:1 or group) Best for you if you: - Like talking to people - Enjoy teaching or guiding step-by-step - Want the fastest path to your first customer - Don’t mind being on Zoom Avoid this if you hate being “on stage.” 2️⃣ Online Courses Best for you if you: - Prefer to teach once and let people learn on their own - Have a process you can break into steps - Want something scalable without adding more hours - Like creating videos or structured lessons Avoid this if you struggle to organize your thoughts. 3️⃣ Digital Products (PDFs, templates, guides) Best for you if you: - Want something simple and fast to launch - Prefer writing over talking - Have repeatable knowledge you can package - Don’t want to be on camera Avoid this if you want deep 1:1 interaction. 👇 POLL: Which one feels like the best fit for YOUR skills and personality? (Coaching / Courses / Digital Products) After you vote, drop a comment: What made you choose that option? I’ll reply and help you narrow it down.

Well... I have thought digital products would be the way to go, but now as I am also using AI for some research, and considering my niche, I am really starting to lean toward courses.
