Suggestion …
In the mood for a new Blue Fragrance this summer and looking for some suggestions. No Acqua Di Gio / Sauvage / PDM / Mancera / Bvlgari … have stuff from those houses and looking for something that’s not gonna cost an arm and a leg ….

Montagne Discount
Just a heads up for anyone looking to purchase from Montagne. Now through April 19, they have a 10% discount code REDDIT10 plus free shipping on all their fragrances. They only do this once or twice a year, so if you were on the fence or waiting to make a purchase, this is a good time to do it. Also, they just released new inspirations of Byredo Gypsy Water (one of my top 3 all-time favorite fragrances), Byredo Mojave Ghost (and an amazing summer fragrance that does well in high heat), and a Tom Ford one that I don't really care for (Neroli Portofino). I already have Mojave Ghost, but I might order that Gypsy Water to get their take on it. I'm a big fan of their versions of Another 13 and Torino 22.

Looks like they already sold out of Gypsy Water. I'll have to wait for it to come back in stock. 😔

@Lon Chaneyfield I have been very impressed by the three that I have from them. They are worth the weight to let them mature when they arrive. I find after about 4 to 6 weeks on the shelf, they really come into their own, and they just get better and better and better overtime. Another 14 is in distinguishable from the original, as is Torino 22. I’m still letting Eau Noire mature a bit, but even now, it’s pretty nice.
Pacific Chill vs. Afternoon Swim
If you could pick one, which way do you go?? For me, Afternoon Swim wins on scent, but Pacific Chill wins on performance. Both are great, albeit very expensive, fragrances.

Didn't realize this thread was from July 2025. Nice little resurrected thread. I'd have to go with Afternoon Swim. I like that fresh orange note in the opening

Shoutout to a few members who are showing exactly what makes Brotherhood of Scent such a strong community. First, @Henry Clay for a great SOTE post on Dua Tobacco of Royals 14. He did what the best fragrance posts do: he gave context, shared his honest take, and made it useful for other members by explaining that while he has not done a side-by-side yet, the fragrance was strong enough on its own to convince him he now wants the original Amouage Royal Tobacco XIV as part of his 50th birthday gift to himself. That kind of post gives people something real to react to, learn from, and build on. (Link to Skool Post) Also, shoutout to the members helping @Michael Douglas in the “Middle Eastern Scent” thread — especially @Jeff Beason, @Matt W, @Paul Bartnicki, @Edward Mooney, and others who jumped in to help a fellow member with recommendations. The original question was simple and useful: favorite Middle Eastern eau de parfum recommendations. And that is exactly where this community shines — members showing up with experience, perspective, and real guidance. (Link to Skool Post) This is what we want more of: Share what you are wearing. Ask good questions. Help another member make a better fragrance decision. That is how our brotherhood gets stronger!

"At least it's not drugs," I say to myself as I buy 37 fragrances with no shelf space and a tight budget. "At least it's not drugs..."
