I know you've been asking about setting up Amazon Ads to get more visibility to your KDP books, but before we get to that, there are a few things you need to do first. 1. 🔍 Keyword research - You need to make sure you look for keywords that are highly relevant to your book topic. I like to use Publisher Rocket for my keyword research. It is NOT free, it's currently $199, but if you plan on publishing multiple books, it is a MUST HAVE. (Choose 7 Keywords) 2. 👉 Details - Inside KDP on your book details page you will want to scroll down and update the list of keywords with the 7 keywords you choose. PROTIP: It's a good idea to have 2-3 of those keywords in your books title / subtitle 3. 📝 Book Description - Choose 2-3 of the keywords and naturally work them into your book description. This helps the algorithm see that your books title and content are in relation to the keywords you input in to the book details page. 4. 📖 Categories - Make sure you also update your categories to the best ones relevant to your book. Publisher Rocket can also help you narrow down which categories might be easier to rank in by showing you how many sales you need to get per day to hit page one rankings. 5. ⭐ Reviews - Don't even think about running ads until you have at least 20 reviews on your book. People want to see social proof and if you don't have it then running ads are just going to waste your money. PS - I will be working on some ads training coming soon!
