Sales Call OR Low Hanging Fruit?
I have three perfect fits for my year long- They are fresh out of my fall reset (have worked with me before) and basically WAITING for me to take a next step. I mentioned on our last call that I'd love to have a call with them to pick their brains, get feedback and share my NEW year Inner Wellness Circle they all said YES. But now, I wondering if I should just get them on a sales call. CATE? Is there a way I can do BOTH and let them know so I don't ambush them?

@Patrick Garlinger thank you for this!
Naming my Club/Structuring my Community
I'm having second thoughts on my club name and would like some feedback. My business name is Sonora Sol Embodied Living LLC. For years I have held Women's Circles under the collective name Sacred Sonoran Sisterhood. When I launched my Fall Reset as a lead into the club, I created a free community under the Sisterhood name. I thought this would be a good hub to invite people to stay connected between in person events. I will also host one free Moon Circle a month here and intend to draw people in with free content and then encourage engagement among members. Now comes in my actual club- The Vital Femme Frequency. I was intending to use this as the paid membership, accessed within the Sacred Sonoran Sisterhood, as a "paid access only course" through the classroom. I've heard that @Cate Stillman , you don't recommend this free community style and instead encourage us to go out and find our people in hubs, which is totally understandable. I also started considering what you've said about members shortening the name and well, Vital Femme Frequency doesn't have a great nick name in my opinion. I'm not married to the name, and actually the "sacred" and "sisterhood" say a lot about the collective nature of the club model. If I were to drop the free community though, would anyone have suggestions on what to do with the members in the free community? Do I just create a whole new skool, start discussions with the current Sisterhood members about the paid version? Thank you! Feeling a lot of layers intertwining here, lol.

@Meghann Jacobs I've recently had some a-ha's around my free community and thought it might be helpful to share. I've had a free facebook group for a few years and it's never really been very active. I've decided to commit to making it my level 2 (incubator/waitlist) and to be more committed to the growth over there - make it a simple learning platform, as opposed to my social media outlets, which I'm calling level 1 (followers/surface level/beginner/place for people to find me). I recently changed the name of my fb group to be more cohesive with my course/ club (still don't like that word - haha!). It was "Your Health (r)Evolution and now it's Empowered Wellness Community. My course/club is called Empowered Wellness Collective. Vital Femme Frequency sounds like a tradmarked formula or a course/club name. I love it.
Feedback on initial logo designs, please!
Hello, lovely peeps! I've been hacking around in Cava trying to create a logo for my club, and would love you all's feedback on whether any of these initial stabs have potential. Thanks! (Update: I made a bunch of edits, so the page numbers no longer align with previous comments, sorry!) https://www.canva.com/design/DAG1-cDTCn8/lc3uN_7lAsUWn962qziSkw/edit?utm_content=DAG1-cDTCn8&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Aggression in coaching sessions
I just had a very tough experience with one of my clients that is in my course and I wonder if you’ve had something like this happen before. She scheduled a one on one with me and I thought it was going to be a normal coaching call but different. She wanted to talk to me to tell me about something. She had some issues around in our last call. It was on embodiment and somatic healing and at some point I was talking about divine feminine and how we as women are the only ones that can Birth and whether we’re birthing babies or ideas into the world, we’re still using the same womb space and creative energy that is unique to us. So in our call today, she was aggressively explaining to me that she had a different world view and that she was not birthing anything but channeling. I suggested that maybe we were talking about the same things but using different words and she got really upset and it was very uncomfortable for me, but at the end, she thanked me for allowing her to work through things and talk about this with her and not kick her out of the course. It was such a strange experience for me. I’m not saying that I know better what she is experiencing than she does but it seemed very clear to me that she has strong issues around mothering and Birth, and was very triggered, but she doesn’t feel like she has anything to work through because she said she’s already done that but she clearly asserted that she has kind of an us versus them mentality around people that have children versus those who don’t and that those of us who have children just can’t understand. Do you have any helpful advice? Have you ever dealt with anything similar maybe a different topic but someone in a coaching session that was aggressive and angry?

@Nina Saacks yes! Thank you for your response on this. I felt like I was being challenged into a fight, but I didn’t see why we were fighting. In the end, I reassured her that it was fine for us to have different ways of thinking about something.

Thanks @Cate Stillman! This is good info and the experience was good feedback for me, too. Next time I will be sure to jump in and clarify her intent for the call and use our ground rules to. I'm sure I was feeling defensive - I did feel a little attacked and after she said what she said I didn't understand what she wanted from me. But in the end, we got down to it and then came out with a positive. It just felt really prickly and hard for me in the moment. A good experience for my edge!
