Slab Unevenness
@Juan Cristales what criteria do you hold your foundation contractor to in regards to how level the slab needs to be once complete? A follow-on question would be: Does your flooring guy automatically level the slab before he installs the flooring planks? Is that level work built into his square foot price that he gives you or is that an additional charge?

@Juan Cristales Does this price include the LVP flooring material?

@Juan Cristales Thanks for the info.
Build 2 Rent Success!
I’ve had to travel home the past 4 weeks. I haven’t had a chance to catch up with Curtis but I can tell you he is very busy. He is building in my home town and he is on fire all over the place. Not only does he have several completed projects but they are leased/sold, whichever strategy he chose to use. 🔥💯It was inspiring to see so many projects being done. Congratulations to Curtis and his crew!

Thanks for the comments. We are on fire but it is not without difficulty. This market is tough. We are having trouble making sales so we are keeping more than we planned and the rents are barely enough to cover the expenses. So things are tight. We are working hard to control expenses while maintaining quality and our construction schedule.

No One "Accidentally" Wins at Anything!
- There has to be a plan. - It needs to be written down. - It should be a constant/daily reminder of what you plan to achieve. The questions are: 1. What specific real estate goals do you have for 2026? 2. What monthly actions do you need to take to achieve them? 3. What daily actions will support that? Please take a Sabbath or a day off once a week. 4. Who is holding you accountable? I mean, REALLY accountable. For example, if your goal is to raise $300K for your first build. How many calls do you need to make per month, per week, per day? It's doable. It's just numbers and repetitioin. Let's go BUILD SOMETHING GREAT IN 2026! I think the main theme for 2026 is going to be Capital Raising. What do you guys think? B2R Crew, Juan-

@Juan Cristales I do not like doing calls. That is my sons area. I am making him the public image of the company. I am blessed to be working with both of my sons and my wife in the business.
