🎉 Happy Birthday to the #BrotherhoodofScent — Two Years Strong 🎉
Hey guys, Joe A. here with another one for ya'! Ya' know what? Two years ago, something special started. Not just another fragrance group. Not another place to flex bottles, chase hype, or argue rankings. The #BrotherhoodofScent was built on something different — people first, fragrance second. What began as a gathering of curious hobbyists has grown into the best fragrance community online. A place where beginners feel welcome asking their first questions, collectors share decades of experience without ego, and friendships have formed that go far beyond atomizers and accords. We’ve watched members discover confidence, refine taste, start businesses, travel to events, and genuinely grow, not just as fragrance enthusiasts, but as people. In two short years, the #Brotherhood has become a classroom, a barbershop, a think tank, and sometimes therapy… all rolled into one. We’ve debated notes, survived No-Buy months (or tried to), crowned champions in Wars, enabled each other responsibly… and reminded one another why this hobby is supposed to be fun in the first place! And maybe that’s the real secret. The #Brotherhood isn’t great because of fragrances. It’s great because of you guys. The mentors. The newcomers. The daily posters. The quiet readers learning in the background. Every recommendation, every laugh, every “you gotta try this,” every late-night scent discussion, all of it built what we have today. Two years in… and honestly? We’re just getting warmed up. Here’s to more discovery. More knowledge shared freely. More friendships formed through scent. And continuing to prove that passion, respect, and community still matter online. Happy Birthday, #Brotherhood. Proud to be part of this journey with all of you. Enjoy the #Journey. What say you, guys? How has the Brotherhood changed your fragrance journey over the past two years? What moment or lesson here stands out most to you? Or is ole' Joe A. getting too old and asking if we're slowing down anytime soon? (Yeah… didn’t think so.) Love to hear from ya'!

Mind Games / Longevity !!!
Ever want a fragrance to last forever… and you swear it’s still going even though it’s been dead for hours? Like you keep getting “phantom whiffs” and you’re thinking, no way it’s gone yet, but realistically it’s been nuked off your skin since lunchtime. I think it’s a mix of: - your brain kinda replaying the scent because you were focused on performance - scent memory/association (especially if you love it or you were anxious about longevity) - a tiny trace stuck on clothes/hair that tricks you into thinking the whole thing is still projecting - and sometimes you just catch one random whiff and your mind fills in the rest like “yup, still beast mode” Anyone else do this? What’s a fragrance that had you convinced it was still there when it definitely wasn’t?

interesting thoughts! if i still can smell it i'm assuming it's still strong enough. but i think it's just the other way around: if i don't smell it it's either too weak or i'm noseblind. but refering to your points it would be nr 3 & 4
