Hey everyone, Iβm Duy. Iβm an entrepreneur in the hospitality world with a few restaurants. Iβm new to real estate investing and launched my first mid-term rental earlier this year and looking to add more. Iβm trying to learn the tax side the right way from the start so I donβt overpay as I add more properties. Joined to understand strategies to help small business owners who also invest in Real Estate. One thing Iβm trying to figure out right now is whether a cost segregation study/bonus depreciation makes sense at this stage. My property is in the 350-400k range, and Iβm not sure if the savings outweigh the cost for my situation (None RE professional status, small business owner who will report 75-100k in earnings).
