Databricks vs MS Fabric or Hybrid
Hi all, I have a client that is currently using databricks and power bi. They have multiple clusters of databricks running and want to consolidate into one analytics platform. I've suggested Fabric, what would be the reasons for migrating over to fabric instead of using databricks? or would a hybrid approach be better, by using fabric and databricks? Will Fabric be cheaper to run as one platform? Please let me now your thoughts.

Now that I've been working on both for two different projects, I can say that it depends on the team and goals. If you are currently in Databricks, I don't see a reason to move over, personally. You can still build your semantic models in Fabric as well as reports. Databricks is a more mature data engineering platform (imo), and well suited for larger, more experienced teams. I think Fabric is going in all the right directions, and worth considering for new projects. Especially if you have a small team and already have a presence on Azure. If you already have CI/CD and git management and everything else set up in DB, I would wait to consider a swap until the feature set catches up. You also have to say goodbye to DLT, and that can easily be a deal breaker for teams.
Anyone taken DP-700?
I'm registered to take the exam on the 19th, and I was curious if any other fabricators in the community have taken it and what the experience was like. I've passed the DP-600, but I feel more comfortable on the data engineering side, so I hope this exam goes well!

@Atindra Bandi I finally got my score back and passed... have you taken it yet?
Finally got the results...
I passed! Took the exam back in December and I FINALLY got the results back. Excited to be certified on both exams now!

@Will Needham I found it focused a lot on governance, as did the DP-600. I actually do more engineering than analytics work, so I was more than happy to sling some KQL and Python on this exam. I took the beta exam, so I felt there were issues with some of the questions, and provided feedback where the directions or answers seemed ambiguous. All in all, I feel like if you're good on DP-600, you can get up to speed for the 700 pretty quickly as it builds on a lot (and re-tests a lot) from that foundation.
WOW 🤯 Write Spark Dataframe to Warehouse table
Pretty much from Day One of Fabric, people have been asking for this, and [COMING SOON], it will be possible. Haven't seen it announced anywhere, just saw Sandeep Pawar mention it. 👉🔗 Documentation Link that mentions it

Best Tool to Design Architecture
Hey everyone, I'm looking for the simplest yet most effective tool for creating architectural block diagrams with Fabric and Azure elements. I usually use Draw.io, but it has limitations when it comes to Fabric icons. Any recommendations?
