I don’t want to cry alone on this: I purchased a month ago a Nishane Deziro from Jomashop for $89 (tester) and was “delivered” today. Other 2 preowned Nishanes from Mercari - Ambra Calabria and Wulong Cha were to be delivered today too. In the end 2 boxes was not delivered and marked as it, and the Ambra Calabria from Mercari, the guy used a strong tape to hold the lid and removed all the name from the bottle. To be honest, was not as I expected, remember a lot Ani, that I don’t like too much, so I will return it. So, the score was 2 fails self gift from 1 day before my bday :(

Although I really like and enjoy the divisiveness of OG, I’m enjoying this one as well. It’s a more refined, smooth, and easy to wear version. If you hated the OG, this one might make it for you. It comes across similar to Rochas Man Intense. The opening feels aromatic, green, a bit citrusy/sweet, and a touch of spice. The dry down hits with the coffee accord shining, but very well blended with some sweetness, a licorice and balsamic nuance that is magical. This is a safe scent for those venturing into coffee fragrances, more appropriate for fall winter and spring, casual occasions, the office, and gatherings. It has good projection and longevity.

Yesterday after visiting a friend at the hospital I stoped by Tj maxx on the way home and picked up this new scent for the summer rotation. Got it for $50 plus tax.

Picked up the discovery set. I have to say, slightly let down. Don’t get me wrong, very well blended and have many that I found to smell good, just not wearable for me on a personal level. My wife loves most of them, which makes sense. The quickest way I could describe the house is soft and subtle. They use a lot of naturals, so it makes sense it wouldn’t be overwhelmed or beastly. If I had to select one or two from the house for personal use, it would be Velvet Iris and Bois Imperial Extrait. I’m a big patchouli fan, but their Patchouli Mania was a bit too earthy for me. Bois Imperial was good, just not something I’d wear unfortunately. Overall, I’d say the house as a whole leans feminine. Anyone have some experience in Essential Parfums?
