The Golden Ticket to Closing More Sales
Most people fail in sales not because they don’t know what to say, but because they never learn how to listen. Too many salespeople spend the whole conversation thinking about their next line, their rebuttal, or their clever closing question. The golden ticket is already being handed to them in the words of the person they are talking to. The client will tell you what they need. They will tell you their pain points, their priorities, and even what it will take for them to say yes. But you will miss it if you are too busy trying to sound smart instead of being present. Want to win more sales? Slow down. Listen with intention. Ask better questions and actually hear the answers. Because the best closers are not the best talkers. They are the best listeners.

Never start again…
This week I had the opportunity to present to a room of home inspectors and one of the topics I spoke on was ā€œNever Start Againā€¦ā€ Super crucial to be clear on your vision, mission, and purpose of why you want what you want to achieve. But, most people can’t see past the BOARD in front of them. I’m saying board because I used an example of me breaking a board over my head. Showing that if I stop without follow through my head is going to hurt really bad without breaking the board. Following through to the end may have a little pain but it eventually breaks. Don’t quit to soon and follow through. Most of you are right there at the line and it just takes a little more to achieve the next chapter you’re trying to achieve.

This really hits home, Jr, The idea of ā€œnever start againā€ reminds me that it’s not about restarting every time we hit resistance, it’s about pushing through until the breakthrough happens. Most people stop just a few steps before the result shows up. Clarity, consistency, and follow-through really separate those who wish from those who win.
