I've passed DP700 exam
Thanks to Will and the community ! The exam contains a lot of questions about (event)streaming and KQL queries, DAG, Spark some ADF questions. It tests more hands on knowledge than theory unlike DP600. Excited to be certified on both exams now! What is an Analytics Engineer (according to UK Government)?
I thought this was interesting - Find out what an analytics engineer in the UK government does and the skills you need to do the role at each level. It breaks down the skills required at different levels: - Trainee Analytics Engineer - Analytics Engineer - Senior Analytics Engineer - Lead Analytics Engineer - Head of Analytics Engineering At each level, competence is graded in the following skills: - Communicating between the technical and non-technical - Data analysis and synthesis - Data innovation - Data modelling, cleansing and enrichment - Metadata management - Problem management - Testing - Turning business problems into data design I really like these skills, and aligns closely with my own definition of analytics engineering - what are your thoughts on this?

Getting my PL300 in preparation for DP600
Hi everyone, I am considering getting my PL-300 certification first, before pursuing the DP-600 certification. I was wondering if anyone who has taken the same route would like to share their experiences. Specifically, is it possible to study for the PL-300 exam on your own if you have some experience with Microsoft Power BI, or would you recommend taking a PL-300 training course? Thanks in advance!

Yes, taking up PL-300 before DP-600 would sound quite fruitful as it is considered as the L1 exam for DP-600 which would enhance more understanding of the Power BI platform and there would be more of content of Power BI Desktop as well as the fundamentals of semantic model creation.
