Dr. Joe had the honor of kicking off the 78th Air Base Wing Strategic Development Offsite at the Georgia VECTR Center on Monday, January 12. The two-day session brought together leaders from Colonel Johari Hemphill’s team to build a strategy map that will guide the organization into 2026 and beyond. Dr. Richardson opened the event with a keynote on “Growth to Greatness,”challenging leaders to operate at their highest level—both personally and professionally—as they lead others. He highlighted accountability and self-care as essential leadership disciplines, and emphasized that true greatness is measured by a leader’s ability to develop other leaders who will carry the mission forward. He also spoke to the powerful synergy between Robins Air Force Base and the Middle Georgia Innovation Corridor, underscoring how this strong community–military partnership continues to advance innovation, economic vitality, and regional impact.
