I use this time to clear my head and reflect on the week A lot of times I’m filled with a sense of gratitude Because I remember the time when I was stuck in my 9-to-5 and would get fired for taking a Friday off to “relax” or “decompress” This is the beauty of owning your own business… You get to make your own schedule, and take the time for yourself that YOU feel like you need Nobody makes this decision for you… Another thing I’ve reflected on recently is how I don’t have to deal with “assholes” anymore Why? Because I don’t want to… And, yeah - sometimes that means passing up on a deal or making a little less money But I’ve learned that I’m a lot happier avoiding those types of clients/candidates So if you’ve got an asshole boss, or co-worker - just remember that one day you can say NO to those relationships and completely cut them out of your life It’s a beautiful thing… Highly recommend it -Russ
