(Sorry, this is a bit long) I had a major spiritual awakening very recently, though it was a long time in the making. I would like to preface this with some background. I have always been interested in the spiritual side of things… witchcraft, the paranormal, and various forms of spirituality. I became a massage therapist not really knowing where that journey would take me. About 5 years ago, I attended a paranormal event where we had a gallery reading by a well-known psychic medium. I asked her if I had any abilities I wasn’t using, and she said, “Oh yeah! You definitely do.” (The part I forgot she said until my wife reminded me about 6 weeks ago was that she also said, “You are a knower”, more on that later.) Shortly after that reading, I moved to a new massage place where I had more autonomy and people with similar spiritual interests. I started really diving more into my spirituality and paranormal work and started my practice in witchcraft. That brings us to the last 6 months, and where this story really begins. Back in August, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. In September, he had a very close call, and it was a very stressful time for me and my family. During those few weeks, when we didn’t know if he was going to be ok, that things really started to shift. I had attended a Wardruna concert, it was my first time seeing them live, and it was during one of their songs that I had a strong wave of emotion hit me. In that moment, it was like a confirmation that I was on the right path with my spiritual calling and that everything would be ok. Shortly after that, I had a strong urge to research some deities and choose one to work with. In my research, one deity in particular stood out and the more I read the more I saw the signs, she was giving me signs of her presence. During a reiki session, I got the confirmation I needed to continue on my path with that deity. In December, I started looking into my birth chart more and exploring my Gene Key/Human Design blueprint. I was in shock at how accurately everything aligned with my lived experiences, including my paranormal and spiritual work. At the very beginning of January, I broke through to a level of understanding that was so profound it shook me and it just clicked.
