Midjourney or...
Does everybody here use MJ or do you have a good alternative?

I actually use both. I've spent quite a bit of time building a custom workflow around ChatGPT with saved memories, detailed prompting and a growing knowledge base tailored to my niche. That helps me create much more targeted concepts and artwork than I could with a blank prompt every time. For image generation itself, I use ChatGPT a lot, but I also love using Midjourney for variations and exploration. I'll often take an image I've developed in ChatGPT and use it as a reference in Midjourney to generate different interpretations, compositions and styles. For me it's less about choosing one tool and more about combining the strengths of both.

How many listings should I post a day and how long after starting an Etsy seller account should I expect to see some sales

I can only share my own experience. My first three months on Etsy were honestly a complete failure. In March I switched to Print on Demand and started uploading listings consistently whenever I had new designs ready. I got my first sale at the end of the month, and since then sales have grown steadily. My biggest advice is not to focus too much on a specific number of listings per day, but instead on consistency and patience.
Short question short answer please :D
Hi everyone, quick question regarding framed posters. My Etsy shop already contains both vertical and horizontal artworks. Since the new framed poster option became available, I'm currently converting my listings to PrintShrimp. Is there any reason why horizontal artworks should not work the same way as vertical ones? From my understanding, as long as the aspect ratio and print file are correct, the printer and frame orientation shouldn't matter. Before I start converting a larger number of horizontal listings, I just wanted to check if anyone has already done this successfully or run into any issues. Thanks!

@Mihai Volintiriu Perfect, thank you! That's exactly the confirmation I was looking for. To be honest, that's what I assumed as well, but I wasn't completely sure about the hanging hardware and whether it would be mounted correctly for horizontal artworks. It sounds like the hanger is simply fitted according to the artwork orientation, which makes perfect sense. Really appreciate the clarification. Time to start converting some of my best performing listings 😊

I already replied on Trustpilot, but I also wanted to leave a few words here as well 😄 Huge thanks to Tom and the whole PrintShrimp team 👏 I originally only planned to test a few Etsy poster listings, but a large part of my shop now runs through PrintShrimp because the fulfillment, tracking sync, production quality, and overall workflow have honestly been super smooth and reliable so far. Excited to see where the platform goes in the future 😄
Thinking About Switching My Etsy Poster Shop to PrintShrimp Need Honest Advice 😅
Hey everyone, I’m seriously considering moving my Etsy wall art shop over to PrintShrimp and would really appreciate some honest feedback from people already using it long term. At the moment I mainly sell posters in these sizes: • 6x8• 12x16• 12x18• 16x24• 18x24• 20x30• 24x36• 28x40 Both vertical and horizontal. I’m currently using another POD provider where shipping costs force me to price much higher, especially for larger formats. What I’m trying to fully understand with PrintShrimp is: • Is shipping REALLY completely free for UK, Germany, France & Spain, EU1, EU2, USA, Canada and AUS because those orders are fulfilled locally? • And only “World” orders get charged shipping? • Are the prices shown in the pricing table truly the final production costs? • Or are there hidden costs later during fulfillment? Example: If a 20x30 print shows £10.49 in the pricing table for USA / UK / EU, is that literally all I pay to PrintShrimp for that order? Meaning: If I sell that poster for let's say £29.99 on Etsy, would my profit basically be: Sale price minus Etsy fees minus £10.49 That honestly feels almost too good to be true compared to what I’m used to with other POD providers. I’m also thinking about simply excluding “Rest of World” countries in my Etsy shipping profile and only focusing on the regions where PrintShrimp fulfills locally with free shipping. Am I thinking about this correctly? Another thing I still don’t fully understand: Is there some kind of preview/mockup system before publishing products? For example: With Printify I can drag my artwork into a format frame and immediately see if everything fits correctly for the selected size and aspect ratio. Does PrintShrimp have something similar? Or how do you safely check: • crops • positioning • bordersbefore publishing? And honestly…I still don’t fully understand the SKU side of things either 😅 Also: How exactly do the Etsy listings appear in practice? Do I need to manually create the Etsy listings and all variants first and then somehow connect them afterwards?

@Mihai Volintiriu I was literally setting up and testing PrintShrimp when a real Etsy order came in for the exact wall art I was currently migrating. Honestly, it was super easy: The order imported automatically, payment worked instantly, the address validation worked perfectly, and even selecting/uploading the correct wall art was very straightforward. You definitely got a new customer here at the end 😉

@Camilo Palacio Yeah, you were absolutely right 😄 A real Etsy order literally came in while I was testing PrintShrimp setup for that exact listing. The whole process was surprisingly smooth: automatic import, address verification, payment, SKU matching, and uploading/selecting the artwork all worked way easier than expected. I can already see why you recommend this workflow instead of migrating hundreds of files upfront 😂
