Wife had a great idea
My wife suggested I get a light to mount on the underside of the shelf above my watch box. I got a rechargeable led light off of Amazon and it illuminates my box great, and has a side effect of charging the lume on all the watches at the same time.

New Watch
Got home from Wind Up Watch fair in San Francisco. Got myself a Laco Pilot Original. All the vendors were really helpful, but went with Laco to add to my collection, and got it 15% off

Very nice pick up.
New Strap
Received this Dassari Deployant Sailcloth as a gift and man oh man is it fantastic. The clasp is thin and lightweight, the sailcloth is softer than my others and that gray stitch just adds a little pop on the wrist. This one will be riding the wrist for a few days now at least.

I don't know what is different between the Dassari with the deployant clasp, vs their standard sailcloth, but I have some of their standard sailcloth straps, and they are nice for the price (especially on sale), but they were not soft to me. The do look great though. I put one on my Hanhart 417 ES, and my wife put on on her Swatch X Blancpain Ocean of Storms. My wife daily wore hers few a few months, and the strap cracked at the buckle. To StrapCo's credit they replaced it under warranty for free.
From Hodinkee: IntroducingThe Bulova Lunar Pilot Black Hole
It’s a very good looking watch but at $1,650 USD Exac, that’s a pretty hefty price. What are your thoughts on this release? https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-bulova-lunar-pilot-black-hole-live-pics

It looks good, but that's a steep price. It's like $1000 above the street price of the 43mm Lunar Pilot. I really couldn't tell what is special about this besides the new smaller size. The good news is, this is likely the first release of a new 41mm size. So I'd expect standard versions in 41mm to be coming soon. Hopefully below $1K street price.
One of my Automatic watches is running fast
And by fast, I mean gaining almost an hour a day. I’ve done some research on the interwebs and seen that it may have become magnetized throwing off the springs while YouTubers show I can adjust the “speed” of the second hand. Any thoughts my fellow watch enthusiasts?

@Sean Kavanaugh I think folks are on the right track with Magnetism, unless you recently gave the watch a hard knock like dropping it. If you happen to have a compass, you can put the watch near the compass and see if the watch causes the compass to react. I have had decent luck with the cheap demagnetizers you can get off of Amazon. Do you know what movement is in your watch?
