❓What if your clutter isn't about the stuff at all? I've worked with accomplished women who have beautiful homes that still secretly stressed them out. Everything looked fine to visitors, but they knew the truth: the drawers were chaos, the closets were stuffed, and they felt low-grade anxiety just being in their own space. Here's what I've found: Clutter is usually protecting you from something. A decision you don't want to make. An emotion you're avoiding. An identity shift you're resisting. One example: A client kept every piece of clothing from when she was 30 pounds lighter. The clutter, however, wasn't about the clothes, it was about grief over her body changing and fear of accepting who she is now. (Sound familiar?) Once we addressed that layer, releasing the clothes became easy. What is your clutter protecting you from deciding or feeling?
