What is Nutrient traffic control?
Nutrient traffic control is one of the most overlooked pieces of metabolic healing, yet it explains so much of what people struggle with. Your body is constantly making decisions about what gets absorbed, what gets stored, what gets burned, and what gets held back. None of this is random. It is a highly intelligent system built to protect you. When I talk about restoring the terrain, this is exactly what I mean… giving your body the foundation it needs to direct nutrients wisely. Inside a healthy, well nourished system, nutrients move with purpose. Magnesium lands inside the cell where it calms the nervous system and supports hundreds of enzyme reactions. Sodium and potassium maintain electrical balance and keep your heart beating with strength. Proteins break down into amino acids that repair tissue and build hormones. Fats become long lasting, steady fuel for the heart and brain. When the terrain is safe, this entire flow feels effortless. You feel grounded… clear… energized… emotionally steady… and capable of lifting heavier, walking farther, and living with more vitality. But when the terrain becomes stressed, everything changes. Poor sleep, ultra processed foods, dehydration, too much alcohol, chronic stress, under eating, over exercising, and mineral imbalances all force the body into a protective traffic pattern. The body begins rerouting nutrients away from repair and toward survival. Minerals that should be in the cell get pushed out. Blood sugar becomes harder to regulate. Cholesterol rises to patch inflammation. Hormone production slows because your body no longer feels safe prioritizing fertility, libido, or thyroid function. This is the metabolic gridlock I see constantly. It is not your body working against you… it is your body doing everything it can to keep you alive with the resources available. This is why the foundational work matters so deeply. When you restore minerals… when you hydrate at a cellular level… when you bring in ancestral foods that your body recognizes and can actually use… everything begins shifting. The traffic lights turn green again. Cells become more conductive and responsive. Mitochondria start producing steady energy rather than sputtering. Digestion improves because the system finally has the minerals it needs to break down and absorb food. The heart strengthens because it is getting the fuel it was designed to run on. Mood softens because your nervous system is no longer starving for magnesium and sodium.

Sunlight, Light Codes and Circadian Biology
Circadian Entrainment Most people think of sunlight as something pleasant or optional, yet from a Natural Hygiene perspective it is one of the most intelligent forces guiding the body. Light is information. Every morning the sun delivers specific “light codes” that set the rhythm for every organ, hormone and healing cycle in the body. This process is called circadian entrainment and it determines how well we digest, detoxify, repair and sleep. When natural light enters the eyes and touches the skin, it triggers an elegant sequence of biological responses. Early morning light contains a perfect blend of wavelengths that activate serotonin, cortisol regulation and daytime energy. As the sun climbs higher, UVA and UVB guide vitamin D production, nitric oxide release and immune balancing. Infrared light supports mitochondrial repair and energy generation. None of these are accidental. The body evolved over millions of years to use the full spectrum of sunlight as a daily reset signal. One of the most surprising truths is that melatonin is not just a sleep hormone. It is one of the body’s most powerful detox and repair compounds, produced deep in the mitochondria. The foundation for healthy melatonin starts in the morning, long before darkness arrives. Without proper daylight exposure, the night time repair cycle is disrupted and the body struggles to clear waste, inflammation and cellular debris. When people experience fatigue, poor digestion, anxiety, hormonal imbalance or chronic illness, it is often rooted in light deficiency. We eat food every day, yet we forget that the body also consumes light. Most modern lives are spent under artificial lighting, behind glass and screens, cut off from the signals the body is designed to receive. This is one of the hidden causes of disease in the modern world. Technology adds another layer of stress. Excessive blue light from phones, laptops and LED lighting overstimulates the brain and suppresses melatonin. EMFs create a constant biological load that interferes with the body’s natural electrical signalling. All of this pushes the nervous system away from its healing rhythms.

Going to Worship Yahweh my daddy God
My life is a open book hoping I can help others by what I’ve been through
Hi everyone, I am 67 years old and I love everything about Yahweh. God, Jesus, Yeshua and nature and I love people and I love animals and I love everything pertaining to water.. getting in my little boat and riding up the river where nobody else goes is my peace my time with my Lord it’s where I can take a deep breath and I love my eternal family at church. I am the youngest of seven siblings, we had an abusive father and a mother that allowed it to happen although I understand seven children and she loved the Lord, but she did not share it with her children. She was oppressed by her abusive husband, mostly verbally. Where us children got it verbally and physically. But this is all water under the bridge. I forgave him. I spent a lot of time with them in their older age, taking care of them. And I love them.. I have always put everyone else first my husband, my two children, my grandchildren and tried to make everyone else happy and whole and well now it’s my turn to put myself first under Yahweh and receive wellness !

Sleep: The Forgotten Medicine of Healing
Sleep is one of the most powerful and underestimated medicines we have. In our modern world, people push through exhaustion with coffee, energy drinks, and glowing screens… but the truth is, no supplement or quick fix can replace the deep restoration that comes from a full night of sleep. Our ancestors understood this well. They lived by the rhythm of the sun and moon, trusting the cycles of nature to guide their bodies into rest. Today we must remember that sleep is not optional… it is the foundation of vitality. Why We cant Sleep Many people struggle with falling asleep or staying asleep. Stress… processed food… artificial light… and overstimulation keep the nervous system wired long after the day is done. Even when we lie down, the body may not feel safe enough to let go. Lack of sleep shows up quickly in the form of fatigue, sugar cravings, brain fog, and irritability. Over time it leads to deeper imbalances such as high blood pressure, blood sugar swings, anxiety, autoimmune flares, and even heart strain. How Sleep Heals the Body When we enter deep sleep, the body works like a sacred repair shop. Cells regenerate… tissues mend… the brain clears toxins… and the heart finds its rhythm again. Sleep regulates hormones that control appetite and stress. It restores the immune system so it can protect us from illness. It lowers inflammation and supports healthy blood sugar. Without it, the body cannot fully heal, no matter how well we eat or what herbs we take. Sleep is nature’s nightly detox and renewal. Returning to Ancestral Rest Our ancestors did not stay up until midnight staring into artificial light. They rose with the sun… worked with their hands… and slowed down by firelight when darkness fell. Their bodies followed the earth’s rhythm. To reclaim this balance, we must remember to step outside in the morning sun to reset the circadian rhythm… dim the lights in the evening… and create an environment that whispers to the body that it is time to rest. Simple steps like turning off screens an hour before bed, sipping a warm tea, lighting a candle, and practicing slow breathing signal to the body that it is safe to enter rest. This ancestral rhythm still lives in our DNA… we only need to remember it.
