Day 12 Of Taking Action
Im posting early. Metrics are down today. Not a lot of actionable steps 0 Calls 0 Emails 0 Text Building out the systems feels like nothings happening, but I know it in my bones, that when everything is line up (1-2 weeks) I will be able to handle more inbound traffic that I could previously. There is no point in having the tools and not using them. Its sucks that my activity is down but you have to sharpen your axe. If anyone has ventured into Ai Knowledge base engineering for the Ai agents, Let's chat. Whats working for you? how are you using it?

@Jamie Parker Totally get this, those system building days can feel like nothing’s happening, but they’re actually the groundwork for real growth. In real estate, having your CRM, automations, and AI workflows dialed in is what separates the busy agents from the scalable ones. You’re right, no point in having tools if they aren’t set up to actually work for you. Once everything’s running, you’ll be able to handle way more volume without losing touch. I’ve been experimenting with AI knowledge bases too, curious what you’re using to train your AI agents?

@Jamie Parker Sounds like a solid plan, sometimes those slower weeks are perfect for tightening up the backend stuff like automations and AI setup. Once those Zapier workflows and your bot are dialed in, it’s going to save you a ton of time when you ramp back up. Enjoy the time with your daughter during fall break, that balance matters.
Why Every Real Estate Agent & Investor Needs a Solid CRM (Not Just a Spreadsheet 👀)
Let’s be real… Deals don’t fall through because there aren’t enough leads, they fall through because follow-ups slip through the cracks. (and there is a saying that the fortune is in follow ups) That’s where having a solid CRM makes all the difference. A good CRM isn’t just about storing contacts it helps you: ✅ Track every conversation (no more “Who was that seller again?” moments) ✅ Automate follow ups without sounding robotic ✅ Keep tabs on motivated sellers, buyers, and JV partners ✅ See where every lead is in your pipeline in seconds If you’re serious about scaling in real estate (whether wholesaling, flipping, or buy & hold), you need systems, not sticky notes. Curious, what CRM are you currently using, and how’s it working for you?

From Leads to Closings, The Hidden Gap Most Real Estate Pros Miss
Let’s be real… getting leads in real estate isn’t the hardest part anymore. The real challenge? Getting those leads to actually respond and close. I used to chase sellers and buyers manually, texting, calling, and following up until I got burned out. Some deals slipped through the cracks just because I couldn’t keep up. Then I built a simple automated system that changed everything. -Follow-ups go out automatically (without feeling robotic) -Every lead is tracked, no more guessing who’s hot or cold -Conversations continue, even when I’m offline Now, instead of hustling harder, I’m closing smarter. And that’s what most real estate investors and agents miss, consistency powered by automation. If you’re tired of leads ghosting you or deals falling apart because of slow follow-ups, it’s time to fix the system — not the hustle. Want me to share how I set up my real estate automation and follow-up system? Drop a “SYSTEM” in the comments and I’ll walk you through it.

Absolutely 💯 that’s the truth right there. Getting leads is easy keeping up with them is where most people drop the ball. That’s why having a CRM with automation is such a game changer. It keeps your pipeline organized, automates those follow-ups, and helps you focus on real conversations not chasing spreadsheets. Once you combine consistency with automation, you stop working in your business and start scaling it.

If you are still interested in cold calling you might want to look into using an AI calling agent. These tools can handle the initial outreach for you calling leads, qualifying them based on your script, and even booking appointments or passing warm leads straight into your CRM. It’s like having a full time assistant that never gets tired or misses a follow up. 🤖 Once you integrate it with your CRM pipeline, you can automate your entire flow from lead intake to follow-up to deal tracking which saves time and helps you focus on closing rather than chasing. Efficiency is the real edge in this game.

@Ian Salyers Let’s gooo! 🔥 Big respect for taking action and hitting the phones, that’s where the real momentum starts. 💪 As your business grows and those calls start turning into more leads, definitely consider setting up a CRM pipeline. It’ll help you stay organized, track every conversation, and make sure no deal slips through the cracks. Plus, it keeps you from burning out when the workload picks up, systems save sanity. 😎
