Hello men, not as active as a would like feels like I fell in a little bit of a hole from overtime. Now done with the overtime i feel as I feel in a hole of depression and feeling like I need to revamp a lot of areas of my life.

New Job
Good Evening Fellas, just wanted to say I start a new job tomorrow. I went from managing a facility to now I’m working in the corporate office managing. Just wanted some advice or words of encouragement from you all. I’ll also post my outfit that I will wear for tomorrow and throughout the week too.

Monday’s Quiet Confidence
Brian McGuire recently dropped a sharp reminder on the holy trinity of fabric, fit, and function. Today, I decided to put those principles to work. The foundation is spot-on: a textured cream knit polo paired with crisp blue trousers. The soft, breathable knit keeps things approachable and relaxed, while the tailored trousers bring structure and edge. For the jacket, I skipped louder options and reached for my tan sports coat instead—it quietly bridges the cream polo rather than competing with it, creating an easy, harmonious layer. Grounding the look are rich chocolate suede loafers that add just the right dose of maturity and elegance. The entire palette feels refined yet completely effortless—polished enough for the office, but never overdressed. And since it’s Monday with no in-person meetings on the books, I’m dressed for a comfortable day at the desk… while still being ready to step into the boardroom if the inevitable surprise call comes in. Classic Monday insurance.

I love going into thrifts and vintage stores! You can always find one or two gems in an afternoon of shopping.

Yes, unfortunately @Geoff Saunders some days you find nothing.

It's clearly Spring here in Southern California. The highs each day are in the low 70s, the sun is out, and flowers are blooming. I asked my sartorial AI app to give me a Spring outfit and I think it worked. As always, positive and constructive feedback is always welcome and encouraged. • Shirt — DS‑042 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A CT Non-Iron Cotton-Linen Prince of Wales check in mid-blue with cream and light blue accents—perfect for Spring's warmer days. The cotton-linen twill blend offers breathability while maintaining a crisp, professional appearance. Classic point collar with barrel cuffs; ideal canvas for today's pink tie. • Undershirt — US‑010 (Ralph Lauren Polo): A soft blue cotton crew neck from Ralph Lauren that disappears under the Prince of Wales pattern. Provides all-day comfort without show-through risk. • Slacks — SL‑022 (Mantoni): Light gray Mantoni windowpane wool slacks with navy and light blue detailing—part of a 2-piece suit cut with clean, modern lines. The lightweight pinhead weave and slight sheen make them perfect for Spring, while suspender buttons allow for today's braces-forward look. High rise with medium break for a timeless silhouette. • Vest — VWC‑004 (Perry Ellis): A natural linen herringbone business vest in cream—quintessentially Spring. The breathable linen construction and relaxed herringbone pattern create beautiful textural contrast against the windowpane slacks and Prince of Wales shirt. Slot pockets and silver dual-direction back buckle. • Tie — NT‑047 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A pink silk tie with dark pink and navy polka dots—a sophisticated Spring statement that bridges the pink/blue color story. The 3.25" width pairs perfectly with the shirt's classic point collar. Navy dots echo the slacks' windowpane detailing. Tied in a Four-in-Hand knot for relaxed elegance. • Suspenders — SB‑005 (JJ Suspenders): The "Autumn Harvest" classic brown suspenders in cocoa with cream accents and gold hardware. Silk and leather construction with a Y-back design. The warm brown tones complement the chocolate footwear while gold hardware matches the tie bar. A perfect alternative to a belt for the vest-forward look.

Here to learn and here to help. I ran a resilient living website for 10 years. I go dark Monday afternoons (mostly). Say hi, and let's share ideas.
