This week I’d like to hear from you all what you will be focusing on. Some principle? A technique you want to master? Staying calm under pressure? Let us know in the comments.

My PT sessions are over post stroke. I want ease into ramping up my cardio in BJJ drilling. A perfect opportunity to focus technique. On the knife side of my training I'm focusing on staying on the outside using structure and frames.

Here Professor James covers details on the champagne glass grip when applying a wrist lock from a shirt grab.

Bonus day to learn something new, connecting your wrist together for a super strong structure.

I like the leg ride as it takes out my opponents bottom half of his body. It puts me in a position of perhaps climbing up to mount, side control or maneuvering to the back.

During my visit to see Professor James yesterday, I asked him some questions about breathing, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Please like or leave a comment if this is material that you are interested in.

I'm the king of upper lung breathing. Breath work during training and into rolling is the Gold Standard.

Special visit from Professor Jack Taufer. Recently, kuzura kesa gatame has been a position many of us have been working on. See you at tomorrow's Q&A session. (Premium members look in the classroom next week for some techniques that Professor Jack shared)

That is one off my favorite positions kesa gatame. We played with that on Monday. If I was the top player and I wanted to sept my left leg over your head grabbing the collar at the same time for a choke. The bottom player shuts that down by grabbing elbow or trying to get elbow to floor. Pretty neat stuff.
