Most people will spend the first week of January "getting organized." Cleaning their desk. Setting up their new planner. Writing goals they'll forget by February. Meanwhile, the people who actually win January aren’t getting organized. They’re getting clients. Because here's what nobody tells you about January: Businesses are hiring RIGHT NOW. "0 out of 10. Would never recommend.” …That’s what my mentor told me after my first big copy review. (Ok I’ll admit it, he didn’t say that EXACTLY lmao) Was it brutal? Yes. Was it accurate? Also yes. Here’s what I realized: Feedback only stings when it’s true. The more open I was to hearing what sucked about my writing, the faster I improved. If you’re avoiding feedback because it hurts, you’re avoiding growth. Get your copy reviewed. Listen. Apply. Repeat. Your ego will recover. 4D out.
