Day 2 - Reflections. Here's to the delivery skills of the presenters
I deliver Leadership and Management training in the UK, and originally my main focus in attending the AI Summit was to see what I could learn about the topic of AI that might be valuable to share on with my learners. That 'box is being ticked', of course, but I'm noticing that this original aim is being overtaken by the drive to employ AI myself, both to save the hours/time, yes, but to actually help me take ideas that I have always had, and make them a thing, ...make them a reality. One of the things that dawned on me following day 1, and was underlined today, was that all the excuses I've ever told myself - essentially around not having the 'kit' or the access to make whatever the dream actually happen ...that's all gone. AI is here. And it's standing by, with it's hand on it's hips and tapping it's watch. "Come on, Dave, let's crack on". I feel exposed! I've got no more excuses to hide behind! But, that's also so exciting and liberating. And this 'immersion' across 3 days keeps me there, ...keeps me anchored, focused ...and holds my feet to the flames. Accountability, right? Haha, when I dropped on to write something here, the above wasn't what I had planned!! I guess I felt this forum was a safe place to open up a little - feels good! But what I ACTUALLY was going to say, was how much I'm enjoying the delivery skills of the presenters. Each speaker has got their unique style, but are all engaging in their own way and I'm learning loads. For example: I regularly use the 'drinking from a firehose' analogy whenever I'm covering a lot of content in a limited time (or I just get too carried away and 'flow'!), but today we saw Lior's take on that, where he took the analogy to the next level, and I loved it. "Drink from the side" rather than head on - that's perfect for how it feels staring at all the possible AI tools, and how to position yourself to deal with the rush. Amazing. So, yeah. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. I think I've already got my dollar's worth! 🤣 Here's to day three! If you're reading this, then thank you for getting through it all, and I hope you're having an equally enlightening time. It's great to be a part of this group.
Did you get what you came for?
To those who found it necessary to comment about the sales aspect of this program: Did you sign up and take time out of your day for expansion into possibilities OR to get something for free? Either way, you received what you expected. The mirror can be harsh.

@Ann-Marie Burtell 100%. @Barbara Schiestel Exactly. My view was: I splashed out about 77 English pence to be on a 9hr course with some truly inspirational content. If it was sold as "77p, plus 20mins of ads", I'd have STILL said that was a bargain! I just used the time to sort out the notes I'd taken to that point - it was a welcome lull!
Transferring handwritten notes into Claude?
What method is recommended to transfer years worth of hand written notebooks into useable data for Claude to reorganize into topics for talks and more importantly for my business to be a true representation of my core self?

@Jenny Verne that's 'Large Language Model'. Basically, Chat GPT, Claude (etc) that have been talked about today are all LLMs. "LLMs are a category of foundation models..." (I'm reading from my course notes, now ...don't ask me what a foundation model is 🤣)

Michael, thank you for sharing those - you're a star. Helpful, as I pull my own notes together, but also inspiring - I need to practice to be able to do this, and then apply it to ...me!
🔥 72 hours to go...
Day 1 of the AI Advantage Summit starts in just 72 hours. Before we kick off, we want to know one thing: What is your biggest challenge with AI right now? Seriously, we want to hear it. Because the more we know about where people are stuck, the more we can make this Summit genuinely useful. The goal is not for this to be just another event that feels interesting in the moment. The goal is for it to create real change. To help you use AI to buy back time, work smarter, and build an advantage that keeps compounding month after month. So if there is something you want clarity on, need help with, or want us to address during the Summit, now is the time to share it. This is your chance to help shape the experience and make it a bigger win for you. We cannot wait to see you on Thursday. 🚀 Let us know if you’re coming by RSVPing right here!
