My barber is better than 99% of marketers and salesmen.
I went to a NEW barber last week. (It was as frightening as you can imagine.) Luckily, this guy was an absolute legend. High energy, friendly banter. Rare coming from a barber (at least where I'm from.) I sat down in the chair and as he examined my hair... ...he had this concerning look on his face. Barber: "Your hair's a bit oily." Me: "Not that much... is it?" I didn't think so. I'd washed it less than 24 hours ago. Barber: "I can make it work... but... I hope the scissors don't slip and mess up the cut." Deeply concerning look still on his face. Followed by 4 seconds of us just looking at each other through the mirror. Barber: "We can get it shampooed and washed up in less than 5 minutes." Ahhh now I see. My hair was honestly not that oily. But I bit the bullet anyway. Not necessarily because I was scared of the fckn scissors slipping. But because I respected the salesmanship. He did everything right... - Good energy - Built rapport - Pointed out a potential problem - Presented the solution Good at his craft too. One of the best fades I've ever gotten. The most important thing that stood out to me was his energy and his eye for money making opportunities. I like that. He's my new barber for the foreseeable future. Take this as a reminder to make the most of every customer. And if you have a genuinely helpful solution... shamelessly squeeze every dollar out of them lol. Happy Monday!

Welcome Felix. I'm grateful for people like you who are good with numbers - because I'm not haha. Good to have you man 💪
Hey hey hey folks!
I'm Darren! I'm from the UK but I've spent most of my life in India (it's a long story) I started out as a copywriter and that's still what I specialize in but I also do some consulting on the side as well. I've been in the game for nearly 2 years now and since then I've... - Written copy for multi-million dollar brands - Ghostwritten for a billionaire (yes, with a B) - Supported marketing teams in finance, fintech, saas, e-com and info Truly, I've experienced more in these 2 years than most people do throughout their entire careers. But there was no bigger moment than making my first dollar online and proving to my parents (and myself) that this is legit. I'm going to be starting my own personal brand soon but I'm torn between becoming an infamous copy guru or simply scaling my marketing agency. Anyways, enough rambling. Do drop a comment below, would love to connect with ya'll.

Haha, thanks. Well I don't know if I can type it all out. Like I said, I'll be starting my personal brand soon. Just wrapping up a big project and then I'll jump right in. Keep an eye on your YouTube home page. Who knows? You might get recommended one of my videos soon haha
The best "productivity hack" for copywriters
Most people obsess over tools, systems, and morning routines. But one of the biggest productivity hacks I've found is... Typing faster. Yeah, sounds stupid. But it WORKS. I just learned to move my fingers faster lol. But my output has exploded since. Now, this won’t apply to everyone. But if you write for a living (like me) And have to bang out 1,000 - 3,000 word sales pages and advertorials... Speed is a weapon. I’ve always had a fast mind. Thoughts fire like bullets. But by the time I finish writing down my first 3 thoughts... My brain’s already on the 19th. And that’s where ideas often die. Being able to keep up with your own mind... And be able to materialize your thoughts in the physical world FASTER... ...is one of the most underrated advantages you can build. The faster you type... The more you think... The sharper you get... The more you create... The more money you make... It’s like giving your brain a bigger pipe to push ideas through. You can use monkeytype(.)com to practice (it's free) Hope this helps

@Noah Szuwart Haha I’m no wizard but I’m well above average, sitting at around 80 words per minute on a good day. Prioritize it. Even 15 minutes a day on money type will increase your speed like crazy
