Hello!
Im Anthony thanks for having me. I live in Brooksville FL. 46 years old For the first time in my life I stuck to New years resolution. No alcohol No fast food No fried food Since NYE I've worked out consistently in my new garage gym 4-5 days a week. Down from 230 to 165. I've been using CJC-1295/ipam no dac Ss-31 / Mots-c Glow Blood work shows TT at 290 VA won't give me Test so im doing it on my own starting last week with the help of an online mens clinic. Time to build up now. Joined this group for the shared experience, information, guidance and camaraderie.

That is fantastic and you’ve done it in short order. What is your workout and ab routine. Some advice if you are not aware make sure you get your test bloodwork done by 9 am or sooner as it impacts results. Also get your free test measured. Get your PSA tested before you start tee as you should get a baseline.

@Anthony Gioia I’ll start doing this as my ab routine for a month and see how it goes. I’m lacking structure
Cardio
I’m curious what you’ve seen work for fat loss while limiting muscle loss. I was doing a lot of running / HITT Training and recently went to 60 minutes of walking on an 6 incline at 3-3.2 mph. I’ve read that the lower intensity can help to target fat. Then again, cardio is cardio.

Walking is an awesome way to lose weight. Just make sure if on treadmill your arms are swinging and not holding on to it. I like rowing because I get arms legs and back engaged while at the same time and I use rowing app on iPad that is actually fun to use. It has short burst intervals in the workouts and while getting the heart rate up I can row every day and not feel wasted. I do 50 kettlebell swings every single day. And I use kbmh kettlebell app 5-6 days per week and getting decent results. IMO the key is find something you enjoy to do or eventually you will likely not stick with it. Kettlebells is a game changer for me as can do at home, time efficient, and no getting annoyed at gym waiting for someone to get off a machine while staring at their phone.
Shift to Tirzepatide
I have been on a formulated Semaglutide for the last two months. I have had some good results, but the side effects have been kicking my butt. I have decided to shift over to formulated Tirzepatide. From what I have read, there are decreased side effects and better anti-inflammation benefits. Nervous to be starting something new. Thankfully, I’m not starting at the lowest dose since I was already titrated up on Semaglutide. Anyone have experience switching over?

if you are in the US, check out Polly. Only $199 per month regardless of dose. Also stick at the lower doses longer I think the ramp of every 4 weeks to a new dose is too quick for a lot of us. When I got to 7.5 I stayed there for 4 months before going to 10 and have stayed at 10 as have had no need to increase beyond that.
The Stall
Been stuck for 3 weeks with everything dialed in. My guess is my calories have been to low so I’m increasing intake this week to see. Anyone else dealt with this?

Stay the course. The weight will come off. I was also way under eating with a lot of fasting but had a lot of weight to lose. After few weeks the weight just starting coming off again. I’m now doing rolling 72s and getting consistent drop. My stall I had I’m convinced was just body and hormones adapting.

Wins
HUGE Thank you to the First 50!
Hey guys! Just wanted to say we just hit 50 members. This is only the beginning. Super pumped to be on this journey with all of you. Thanks for being here. What is a win you can share? For me, it's that I have consistently lifted long enough to really know my way around the gym. Might sound like a small thing, but I go in there with a plan, I know what I'm doing, and I get it done. It didn't used to be that way. I'd love to hear your wins!
