OOTD - Friday 5 December
Having some fun outside, I mean with this Yiume Hawaiian Shirt reminding me of the Mambo Tee’s I used to wear in my much younger years I just felt like playing in the park 😂 Luckily all the local kinds are at school during the week, I did get some strange looks from people whilst I was doing all these photos. Anyway todays outfit consists of; Yiume Short Sleeve 100% Cotton Undersea Party Shirt Yiume 5 Pocket 35% Linen, 64% Cotton Blend White Shorts Hoka Clifton 10 in Raw Linen/Stone Stanton Collapsible Panama Style Hat in Neutral Oakley Gibston Sunglasses in Matte Black SOTD - Versace Eros Energy (its a hot day today) WOTD - Timex Q Chronograph Speedtimer (Snoopster)

Travel Uniform Improvement Project
So this is my travel uniform when I fly for business. Any advice on improving this uniform while still achieving the simplicity, space-saving, and visual objectives stated below? Ex. I’m thinking of adding dark brown shirts to the mix in fall/winter for a little warmth and variety. Thank you in advance, oh Brotherhood of Style. The jacket alternates between a navy blazer, this navy sport coat, and a light grey, cotton sport coat. In warmer weather, I substitute the medium blue or black button down with a navy or black polo. Always dark wash denim pants. Pocket square rotates based on the jacket and shirt. Boots in fall/winter, loafers in spring/summer. I gravitate toward a monochrome look because 1) I’m vertically compact, and 2) dark colors hold up better while traveling. I never check a bag so this uniform allows me to deal with temperature changes en route, have the jacket ready for business casual receptions, and pack only a suit for business dinners. When I get to my destination, I’ll usually replace the dark shirt and jeans with grey trousers, a light blue/white button down m, and a tie for business casual meetings. Having a travel uniform keeps decision making to a minimum, helps me pack quickly and not forget things, and maximizes use per article.

@Ron LaBrec love that blazer 😍 Great look 10/10. Nailed it.
Kinda a travel win
You know you stay in the same hotels enough when you get in your room and the iPad automatically logs into Hilton Honors without having to input your credentials. I’ll end at 64 Hilton nights and 83 total nights in a hotel.

I’ll end around 60 nights in Marriott and 15 in Hilton this year, so I can relate… not as much as you, but still quite a bit.
Clothes Valet
A few weeks ago I asked for any feedback people had on clothes valets (a place to stage your outfit for the next day). A few had some great pieces but many noted having no experience. Per their request, here is my feedback on the valet I purchased on Black Friday via Amazon from Proman Products. Great color, sturdy design easy to assemble. The top sections with slots and drawers was what set this apart from other options. It has a basic electrical extension cord to charge a phone (etc), but I will likely remove this as all of the area are too small to hold a large smartphone. I like the wood at the base for shoes as it forces me to check the condition of my shoes the night before. The shapes hanger in the back is perfectly size for my should sizing in my tailored jackets. The ere is nearly space for everything with one major omission: the dress shirt. The hooks underneath are too low to the ground so I have taken to hanging the shirt off of the top of the suit hanger, which forebodes of scratching the nice wood finish on the hanger. I give this a 4 out of 5 stars.

What about placing your socks over the suit hanger, and then resting the shirt hanger on the socks for padding? This will allow you to see the socks for visual conformity with the outfit while protecting the wood — so dual purpose. Cheers, 🥂
