I've only got a Pixel watch 2 atm because I like the heart rate and steps counters. It actually helped me ID a heart and BP issue last week so I addressed it right away

@Edward Jewell oh! What band? I freelanced for a couple music festivals from stage design to lighting and audio throughout college!
1/14/26 First Topcoat Wear
I've never owned a topcoat before, let alone wear anything in the brown shades but I decided to trust the process and wife when texting her pictures (little did I know she had a friend over and also was heavily wanting me to get this one). I'm still not confident in it but I've gotten a couple other compliments and eye shifts walking down the street, which doesn't happen too often for me in the city. Nautica camel brown topcoat Express maroon cotton quarter zip from like 2015ish American eagle jeans (cause they at least had my size ~3 years ago) Express button down polo

Last Year’s Wins 🎉 This Year’s Focus 🎯
Gents, before we move too far into 2026, I want you to pause and look back intentionally. 1️⃣ Last Year Wins What’s 1–3 wins from last year you’re proud of? Doesn’t have to be massive. Progress counts — consistency, discipline, better decisions. Style upgrade you stuck with? A fragrance you finally made your signature? A watch milestone, collection refinement, or learning moment? A habit you strengthened, a distraction you cut, or a standard you raised 2️⃣ This Year’s Focus What’s 1–2 goals you’re deliberately committing to this year - not wishing for, but committing to? Could be... Sharpening your personal style as a form of self-respect Building a tighter, more intentional fragrance rotation Becoming more educated, patient, and disciplined with watches Showing up with more consistency - physically, mentally, and professionally Raising your standards in how you present yourself to the world Drop your wins and your focus below. Let’s build on what worked. And cut what didn’t!

Last year - identification of the desire to dress better for work and discovery of RMRS. Bought a new armoire and several basic pieces to be used for interchangeable outfits over the late fall. This year - visited the tailor for just about everything new in the past couple months. start upping my intentionality of seeking out a new wardrobe and figuring out that that looks like over the each season. Goal: Ask random folks where they got pieces as I encounter well dressed folks on the commute to hopefully open up some conversational points and get some of their likings in an effort to grow myself.

@Hakan Tandogan I was in my check ride prep just as covid hit and I ended up giving up that dream, so I am a tad envious! I also had an engine out on takeoff at 600' AGL with a wife and 2 kids at the time so my priorities shifting did have a bit of weight behind them
TSS - M2L7 = Textures
Have you ever worn visible textures? Have people responded to you differently than when wearing non-textured clothing? My wardrobe currently has very few textures in it due to being on the refresh but I do have a couple pieces that have light textures. One quarter zip and a couple vests are really is so far but I have been looking for ways to implement patterns and textures over the past couple weeks. Given it's unseasonably warm (50 degrees the past 2 days!) I've been starting to forward think a bit and trying to imagine what a few spring pieces would look like, especially given my office runs HOT.

@Brian McGuire good points but I really only have things for winter right now since I've been redoing the wardrobe with the Christmas bonus. I do need to research things more though since I can't visualize what those textures mean

@Brian McGuire thank you for the images and descriptions!
Where do I report dead links?
I was checking out the 'START HERE' classroom and in lession 2 'Secret #2 - Engage More to Level Up Faster!'... we have a dead link 🥲. The link 'Click here to read our QUICK Tips To Maximize Your Points & Level-Up!' leads to a '404 Error Sorry, this page doesn't exist.' I don't know the best place to report these issues. Hoping this will get the attention of the people that can resolve this.
