Heading into the city with my beautiful bride for a weekend getaway. Its going to get very cold so my outfit for today and the rest of the weekend will be a mix of warm and functional. Sweaters during the day that I can either add a Sport Jacket to in the evenings or shed the sweater and add the jacket alone. I always find it fun to try to change my outfits as much as I can, but still pack minimally. Today is a travel casual outfit. Today I am wearing.a black waist coat and a continental tie which may be the simplest tie out there.

Here's the stuff on me. Man I really like this vintage Hart Schaffner and Marx golden trumpeter 100% cashmere overcoat.

Well all my new clothes are still at the tailor so it's been a scrounge for me to find ways to up what I already have. I've basically added nicer shoes to the mix and trying to match opposite colors and textures at this point 🤷. Nevermind the gigantic mess that the 3 kids left behind before school as I took this in haste before running to the bus (literally).
