One of the ways success is different for spiritual entrepreneurs is that we need EACH OTHER even more. We need like-mindedness, like-heartedness and like-souledness - REAL community of people who got our backs. I want to build that here and that starts with us getting to meet you! Please share: 🧔Who you are 🌍Where you're from 💻What your business mission is 👋What help you're looking for or blocks you're looking to break through! When you read through these posts, if you can help someone who is seeking expertise you have, please do (just understand, no one likes being pitched or sold if there isn't real and authentic connection or a request). I appreciate you so much for being here and being a part of the community.

Hi, I'm Damien. I'm living in the Northern Rivers of NSW in Australia (Byron Bay region) in a small town in the mountains called Uki. I'm a 4/1 Manifestor... and I feel deeply called on a mission to create the grounding of an educational institute for the future. Right now however I am working with my partner to leverage the power of romantic relationships to effect change by encouraging and supporting the growth into healthy, secure, polarised relationships that support mutual evolution. I teach on attachment theory, nervous system regulation, boundaries, polarity, authentic relating, circling Gene Keys and Human Design... weaving an implicit integral framework throughout. My business is 3 years old, but is currently in it's 2.0 version after a pivot that has only just completed from Authentic Relating into working specifically with romantic relationships. I'm looking forward to slowly finding a way to engage here and meet some of you as we go :)

Soul Pressure
What is your soul calling you to realise this lifetime? What is the biggest reach that you feel wants to pour through you? You might never get there to actualise this 'thing', and yet you know you have to try anyway... to not try is to die a little bit every day. Do you have one? Do you know what it is? How do you experience it on a day to day? What does it feel like in your body-heart-mind-spirit?

For me... my soul has been calling me for more than 20 years now to create community for the future... I'm still not quite sure how to do it, yet I've accumulated skills that would support it. The iteration I see it now as is a university to explore what it might be like to consciously co-create our future. It feels like something that never leaves me. I've tried to turn it off. I've tried to throw it away. But it always comes back. I think the only way I could stop hearing it would be to dissociate so far from life, like being a drug addict. It has me get obsessed with things, like right now running business with the longer term intent to raise capital to take it to the next step. It's something that just runs right through me, it's in my cells, my mind turns it over in some way all the time, it's in my heart. I think my life satisfaction is mediated by how close I feel to it's actualisation or not.

@Deleted I'm a great facilitator and educator, and very good at weaving complex concepts into understandable forms. I create great educational curriculums and I'm capable at building community (although currently only doing that digitally). The participation question is a big one... I see myself in a position of influence or steering whatever the community project is, I could only ever get involved in a project where I could be at that level of influence... which is why I'm focused on generating capital right now so I at least have a money stake in the game. My vision is to create a university with a kind of evolutionary relating at the core, meaning 'turquoise' stage development (if you are familiar with Spiral Dynamics / Integral) focused on all the different areas needed for optimum human thriving as a collaborative endeavour. One of the big paradoxical problems I seek to attempt to sold is: how do we become collectives of highly individuated beings? How do we become individuated into categories of "one" yet at the same time are able to coordinate effectively for the sake of the higher order social holon: the tribe. That's what fascinates me, and I think that's one of the only ways humanity will take what I'm thinking of as "the left hand bifurcation" meaning humans who decide to remain nature and earth oriented, spiritual, community focused and seeking to generate more love in the universe vs the self-indulgent VR/nanotech/gene editing/space faring variations of humanity that are likely to start emerging in the near-ish future.
What advice would you
give to someone who is starting a business, and what would you have wished to know, be, feel or do at that stage yourself?

Experiment on discovering what it is that you want to do and who you want to serve for as long as it needs (probably longer than you think) before making a decision to narrow into any one area, any one offering. Take time to find the 'one first thing' and then practice delivering that one first thing until it's so easy that you can't help but feel the need to grow. And learn marketing, right from the beginning. Study marketing strategy and psychology and understand what the marketplace is and how consumers act. Plus dive into money shadows right from the beginning on... start exploring the relationship to money and your capacity to hold it.
Safety
Safety is a big thing I'm working on, Matt commented to me "when we start to do embodiment work we almost always start to value safety and emotions more, and need to become more skillful in how we ask for that from ourselves and others" I'm keen to hear others experiences, journeys, methods, struggles around this. Thank you! @Rhiannon Henry Matt suggested you would have good input if you are happy to share, and I believe @Damien Bohler this is a big part of your journey from what I gather from your work.

Hi Jasmine, I'd love a little bit more context about what in particular you are contemplating before I chime in :)

@Jasmine Yow similar to what else has been discussed... I would suggest that safety is always psychological. We experience safety as a state, yet to experience that states means that we have to create the skill and capacity to know that we can be safe. For example... one who has high level training in martial arts with a strong body will feel inherently safer walking the streets than someone with a weak body and no training. The experience is based upon the competence that is developed. As an entrepreneur... one who has a higher order set of skills and experiences to draw on will be able to feel safer in more degrees of risk and uncertainty than one who hasn't. We see many very successful entrepreneurs who have gone from millions to millions in debt and back up to millions again with more ease than others of us can make our first 100k. The reason why safety is so significant is because of the tethering to the nervous system and what happens internally when we feel unsafe. Basically our internal alarm system switches on, and we go into survival responses which left on too long create degeneration psychologically and physiologically. We live in a complex world where immediate and immanent survival (like a bear chasing us) is conflated with perceived survival (like getting down to our last few hundred dollars or a fight with our partner). When we are in survival response our attention narrows, we lose peripheral vision both literally and metaphorically, our pre-frontal cortex shuts down by degrees, our creative, critical and problem solving thinking diminishes and we become increasingly catastrophic as our mind focuses in on worst-case scenarios. If we are going to have evolving businesses, evolving relationships, evolving communities, evolving impact... then we need to know how to train safety as a state of being. It's almost impossible to run a business or have a beautiful relationship when we are pushed into panic all the time by our brain perceiving everything as a survival threat.
