Sharing what I did today
Built and tested a Discount Approval Process in Salesforce from scratch. Custom field → Approval Process → Entry criteria → Approval steps → End result: Approval Status auto-updating to "Approved" without a single manual change.

🚨Internship
There is something I want everyone in this community to understand. Learning Salesforce is important. Certification is important. But at some point, you have to experience what it actually feels like to do the job. That is exactly why we built the Pathway AI Corporate Internship Experience. The internship is designed to expose you to the workplace while helping you develop the judgement, communication and practical confidence that courses alone cannot give you. 📚 IF YOU ARE STILL LEARNING AND NOT CERTIFIED YET. You should not think, “I will finish everything first, then I will start the corpeate internship on Pathway AI.” Start building workplace understanding alongside your learning. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD START THE INTERNSHIP 1️⃣ You finally understand WHY you are learning these things Profiles, Permission Sets, security, automation, reports, data, business processes, they stop being random topics. You begin seeing how they connect to actual business problems. 2️⃣ You turn theory into practical understanding Reading about Salesforce is completely different from receiving a business requirement and having to decide what should actually be built. The internship forces you to think. 3️⃣ You discover your weaknesses earlier It is better to discover now that you struggle with requirements gathering, security, communication or solution design than to discover it during an interview. 4️⃣ You learn how corporate teams actually communicate You will interact with managers, mentors, stakeholders and end users. You will receive messages, attend standups, respond to feedback, ask questions and explain your decisions. 5️⃣ You learn how to deal with the unexpected Corporate work is not always a perfect project brief. Requirements change. Stakeholders disagree. Incidents happen. Deadlines matter. You have to diagnose problems, communicate, get approval and deliver. That experience changes the way you learn. 🚀 START YOUR CORPORATE INTERNSHIP NOW. Access Link: https://pathwayai.app

SHARING 🚀 Salesforce Learning Progress — Discount Approval Process
I’m pleased to share another milestone in my Salesforce learning journey. Today, I successfully completed the “Prepare Your Org” stage of the Trailhead project Build a Discount Approval Process, earning +100 points and reaching 25% project completion. During this stage, I gained hands-on experience configuring Salesforce automation prerequisites, including: - Creating custom Opportunity fields for discount approval management - Configuring picklist fields and field-level security - Creating a dedicated Discount Request Responses email template folder - Building Discount Approved and Discount Rejected email templates - Using Salesforce merge fields such as {!Opportunity.OwnerFullName} - Preparing the Opportunity object for the approval workflow What I value most is not simply earning the points, but understanding how these components work together to support a real business approval process. Next milestone: Building and configuring the actual Discount Approval Process. Step by step, I’m continuing to strengthen my practical Salesforce administration, automation, and business-process design skills. #Salesforce #Trailhead #SalesforceAdmin #SalesforceAutomation #ApprovalProcess #CRM #LowCode #LearningJourney #SalesforceCommunity
