Beans causing osteoporosis!?
I just saw the interview with you @Doug Graham and Janett Flores and you said that beans cause osteoporosis. I don’t eat beans anyways but I am curious what does beans contain which causes osteoporosis? And what about young green peas? Can young, raw peas be considered fruits? Or are they beans/legumes too and cause osteoporosis? Thanks 🙏

@Lena Neureuther @Doug Graham Are you talking about raw peas? I thought they were usually blanched or pasteurized—the way you can generally find them.
A little help
My name is Ivan, and I am from Istria, Croatia, in the European Union. I have been vegetarian and vegan for about 14 years, and for several years I have also been interested in a raw vegan diet. I have tried going fully raw a few times, but each time I eventually felt that I was missing something and returned to cooked foods. This summer I have started again, and I would really like to succeed. I am looking for personal guidance from someone experienced with long-term raw vegan nutrition. Ideally, I would like to find a coach, mentor, nutrition professional, or experienced raw vegan who could help me identify what I may be missing and support me through the transition. Thank you.

Celery alternatives?
Where I live, celery is pretty much inedible in summer. I feel like its a crucial component of the raw vegan diet, and I'm not really sure what to do without it. any suggestions?

I don't think there are any "alternatives" to celery. I'd eat lettuce (but it's also a winter vegetable) and if not, cucumbers. They're the only universal combiners I know (maybe spinach too, but I'm not sure about that).

Also, I notice that celery may stay in the stomach for hours (even just a few stalks), longer than a meal of any fruit I have eaten.
How much does it help to do 1 1/2 day water fasts? (short water fast, technically not intermittent fasting, but also - not having effect where feel have less energy either )
QUICK it was on my attention to recap - basically I by mistake was given a holiday on the day about 28th, in about 1 week, after my last 1 1/2 day water fast was 2 weeks ago. So makes sense to use this time to do another 1/2 day water fast. How much does it help to do 1 1/2 day water fasts? (short water fast, technically not intermittent fasting, but also - not having effect where feel have less energy either ). I need to weight if its worth myself strive just copy ted car do it every 30 days, or could be better every 2 weeks with my autoimmune disease. What are your thoughts? thanks for reading. ' @Richard Gambino and @Doug Graham interested

@Timothy David I think it might not be harmful, but I'm not sure Dr. Graham would think it's the best approach. We'll have to wait and see if he replies. It's still not entirely clear to me why you want to do a 1 1/2 day fast.
New interviews with Doug Graham will be posted here
